How to prepare

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your first class to complete your online profile, bring a lock for your belongings, and be sure to let the instructor know any special needs for the best experience.

How to get there

The Studiomix entrance is inside the lobby of the 1000 Van Ness Plaza. Enter through the lobby and climb three flights of stairs, a great warm up for your class or workout. Elevator access to the 3rd floor is also available through the lobby.

She was so helpful in correcting form. She was also very encouraging and energetic
Cardio Kickbox with Wendy
Nonstop cardio kickboxing class. She moves quickly through sets, the monotonous EDM music becomes annoying, but my real peeve is that the instructor shows the moves for a moment then goes back to consult her notes so if you need a visual to follow the moves or just to be motivated and mimic her form, you wont get that.
Cardio Kickbox with Wendy
Great class and great studio! It was my first kickboxing class so I got a little lost at times, but Wendy was awesome and friendly and it was a great workout even if you don't know all the moves!

This class flies by, awesome flow.

Challenging, but the pace is a bit slow and there isnt really any cardio involved
Hip Hop Core with Jessica
Jessica was very passionate and enthusiastic. This class is best suited for those who dont need to be taught choreography to enjoy dance.
Cardio Kickbox with Jessica
Intense but very fun! Jessica Rae was high energy all class. Class size was small so I didn't feel cramped and the studio was well ventilated.
Muay Thai Kickboxing with Sam
Sam was very knowledgeable and encouraging. He was able to coach across all levels in the same class which I appreciated as a complete beginner! Even though our class had an uneven number of people and I did not have a dedicated sparring partner, he became my partner and coached me closely all while balancing teaching the class. I would definitely recommend this class!
TRX Bodyweight Burn with Jay
Not my best class. Jay was a fun guy, but only half the class was with the TRX. And he wasnt too focused on walking around and correcting form. The facilities continue to disappoint, in that they have so much potential and so much equipment, but its too quiet as a gym (so you dont get that energy) and the showers and steam room can seem a bit tired or smelly
Total Body Conditioning with Ray
fast-paced and choreographed to music, which can make it hard to catch the changes, but this workout kicks butt! make sure you pick a spot where you can see the instructor.
