About this studio

Located in Pacific Heights, move-sf offers the city's most challenging and unique small group fitness classes. Our instructors are personal trainers as well as coaches, and are some of the best in San Francisco. Our classes will challenge your cardio, improve your strength, and help you to move and feel better. We have strength circuits, metabolic conditioning circuits, High Intensity Interval Training, and more! No gimmicks; just top notch instruction and movement with an emphasis on quality over quantity. Our coaches will safely push your limits; come move with us! **Please note that the owner's dog, "Solo", is often on the premises. He is a sweet pit mix that we are happy to gate behind the desk for those with dog fears or allergies. :-)

How to prepare

At move-sf we have a "shoes optional" policy for classes in our room called "the pit", and we ask that you do remove your shoes for classes in our "flow room." move-sf has two different group fitness areas: the “flow room” and “the pit.” The flow room is located upstairs and is a "no shoes" room; grips socks or barefoot is best. It has padded martial arts mats for flooring. The pit is located downstairs and is shoe optional. It has plyometric rubber flooring (a bit spongy). The majority of people wear shoes in "the pit."

Shawn is awesome and the class is a good sweat - he has great energy, is encouraging and also pushes you to work hard. (Without being a drill sergeant!) he focuses on form so you don’t hurt yourself - will be back!

What is ClassPass?

ClassPass is a new kind of gym membership that grants you access to thousands of different classes at studios and gyms in your city and around the world.

Price of membership depends on your plan type and city, and you can book and explore classes ranging from yoga to barre to cycling to martial arts – the options are truly endless!

The number of classes you can take and the number of times you can visit a studio per month depends on which plan you're on. You can figure out which plan you're on by going to your Account Settings and looking under 'Your current plan.' With hundreds of studios in our ever-growing network, you're bound to always find a new class to enjoy. When your cycle renews, you can go back and revisit those favorites yet again!
