About this studio

Raven Fitness is a judgment-free space, inspiring health and happiness through innovative movement. This urban nest features AntiGravity® suspension fitness and aerial yoga, with dance cardio classes on the horizon! AntiGravity® is a safe and fun technique that provides a world of benefits utilizing the Harrison Hammock. Most notably: __decompression of the spine __improved flexibility __mobilization of the joints __toning of muscles __strengthening of core & posture __myofascial release __kinesthetic awareness With a focus on safety through clear and attentive instruction, Raven offers many classes with a variety of focuses. Adults of all ages, body types, levels of flexibility and experience can feel the joy of moving through open space. There is something for everyone!

How to prepare

__Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class time to sign in and have hammock adjusted. __As it is unsafe and disruptive, latecomers WILL NOT BE PERMITTED after the safety briefing. __Empty hammocks are given to waitlisted clients exactly at class time. __Sleeved activewear that covers the armpits is recommended for comfort & hygiene. Please arrive dressed for class. __Please REMOVE RINGS AND OTHER JEWELRY before class. __Our padded flooring is being replaced - bring a yoga mat if you prefer one. The Raven team looks forward to flying with you!!

How to get there

Located on 7th Street between Folsom & Cleveland Streets. Street parking is available. No bicycle storage is available inside the studio.

Aerial Hammock Play (ADVANCED) with Rhiannon
this class is strictly for people who already know like 80% of the moves. There is very little instruction. Even if you've been to like 20+ normal classes, you might be lost in this one. They ask you to do a lot more, but without much feeling of safety and attention. In my full class, only 1-2 people could do the advance moves. Because the new, advanced moves didn't have much instructions, I got a lot of bruises from it. The instructor just said things like "just do it. I think you can do it." etc instead of clarifying how and giving more guidance.... Don't bother coming. wish Amy taught more often.

What is ClassPass?
