Marcelo is a wonderful trainer - patient, explains every move, and follows up on form in a kind and supportive tone. What a refreshing experience - no yelling extremes but all the motivating coaching you wanted to get through a tough routine. And working out in the outdoors is a refreshing change from crowded, hot, overly noisy studios. Loved it!

Great boot camp class. Nice setting. Marcelo made it fun. Friendly, small group.

Good way to wake up by working out outdoors but wish it was harder and more Bootcamp. We had many rests throughout and not much option to make the exercises harder (eg all balls for ball slams were 15lbs and heaviest dumbbells were probably 7lbs). I would have liked there to be some guided stretching at the end of class as well.

Their trainers work as a team, utilizing their unique specialties and experiences to create a customized program just for you and what you hope to achieve. There are no “one-size fits all” or “cookie cutter” approaches with MX3 Fitness. And since the trainers work as a team, if your lead trainer is out of town for his sister’s wedding, another trainer can seamlessly pick up for him or her so you never miss a beat.

How to prepare

Please wear clothing that is comfortable to move in and a water bottle. There are restrooms, and a shower available at the studio, however since they meet in a park, be sure to use the restroom before coming. Parking should be relatively easy to find, as well as public transportation. Before coming to the Boot Camp, they ask you to make an Mx3 Fitness page and sign their waiver at MX3Fitness.com/Waiver You won't be sent spam or advertisements.

How to get there

The Bootcamp classes meet at the basketball courts at the west end of Duboce Park, adjacent to the Harvey Milk Center for the Arts, just a block from the studio. Make sure to arrive on time or a little early, since the class sometimes jogs to other locations for a warm up.

What is ClassPass?
