About this studio

Core Studio brings the intensity of SPX Fitness and RealRyder Indoor Cycling to Palo Alto. SPX Fitness is a fifty-minute, full body, muscle-shaking, shirt-drenching workout. New members must arrive 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE SCHEDULED CLASS TIME or they will not be permitted to participate in class and TREAD SOCKS are REQUIRED!

Core Studio classes

How to prepare

Due to safety and sanitary reasons, treaded socks are required for all SPX and 30/30 classes. Core Cycle: Sneakers or SPD cycling shoes are required, towels are optional and available for purchase. Core 30/30: Non-Slip Tread Socks required (also sold at the studio starting @ $18), Sneakers or SPD cycling shoes are required, towels are optional and available for purchase. NO RENTALS AVAILABLE •To reduce the risk of accidents and out of concern for everyone’s safety, glass bottles and open containers are not permitted in the studio.

How to get there

Located in the heart of Palo Alto at Midtown Shopping Center. •New members must arrive 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE SCHEDULED CLASS TIME or they will not be permitted to participate in class. •Due to safety reasons and respect to the class, members that arrive more than 10 minutes after the scheduled class time will not be permitted to participate in class. •All members must check-in at the Front Desk prior to the start of each class. •Tread socks are required for all SPX and Core 30/30 classes. No exceptions.

Wet hard to hear/understand. The microphone sounds so muffled that I always struggle to understand what she is saying.

challenging workout every time. patience is required because you have to learn how to use the machine.

So the first half hour is on a bike and the second half hour is core. Bikes have an ability to bend to help with obliques, but very difficult to keep stable when standing out of the seat. Also bike meters are hard to read in the dark. (Minus one star for the bike) Really liked the instructor and got a lot of direction on the megareformer as I was the only one in the class! Overall enjoyed the class and have found a hidden gem! Will be back!

We apologize you were not notified that there is a backlight available on our bike monitors, just press the light bulb next time you're in our Core Cycle or Core 30/30 class and that should do the trick! Dude, Rafael rekt my body hahaha I really appreciated how he would say things that would remind me to check my form because essentially the entire class I was just shaking. That’s exactly what I want from my Megaformer class. It’s not the next day and I can feel how sore all my muscles are from working so hard (and I’ve been doing this for two years) AMAZING!

What is ClassPass?
