About this studio

Bikram Yoga Nob Hill offers invigorating hot yoga classes that promote self-healing and well-being. Through 26 asanas and two distinct breathing exercises the Bikram Yoga system methodically engages major muscle groups, stretches ligaments and provides a great workout. Throughout each 90-minute session, the instructors keep the studio heated which facilitates safer, deeper stretches. We offer a 60 minute version too. We also conduct 60-minute Inferno Hot Pilates mat sessions which are workouts that include high intensity interval training (HIIT) and Pilates principles set to energetic music and designed to burn fat and sculpt muscles. Very fun and challenging. The classes are challenging, but instructors take care to make them accessible for students of all skill and fitness levels.

How to prepare

WHAT TO BRING: - You need a big towel and a mat for the yoga room. - We rent Breathe yoga mats for $4 and plush shower towels for $2. - Credit card minimum for rentals is $10, with the remainder placed in your house account, or bring cash.

How to get there

Classes are held at 1336 Polk Street. Please arrive early to your first class in order to complete our liability release. If you are late and you have done Bikram Yoga or Hot Pilates there is a ten minute cut-off after class starts. If you have not done Bikram Yoga or Hot Pilates then please arrive 15 minutes early to your first class here.

intense, challenging, and pushes your flexibility to the limits. no water fountain and a bit stinky cuz you sweat A LOT. facility is a bit run-down (rusty lockers, old carpets). instructor was very sweet and paid very close attention to all students, especially newcomers. felt welcomed by staff and rejuvenated after

The carpet in the studio is super gross, it's like you can smell decades of petrified sweat rising out of it as the room heats up- it's hard to do work close to the ground without being distracted by it :(

It was crowded & there were new people who just placed their mats anywhere & instructor didn’t seem to care. As a participant it was annoying to have someone so close to me, literally in front of me & on each side because they didn’t follow the white dots. With new people, some didn’t have towels on their mats, or because they were so close to me, it was very distracting when they didn’t know what was going on in the class. Think the teacher should have done a better job with new people. Maybe the studio should just reserve the back row just for new people!

What is ClassPass?
