The Athletic Playground invites and encourages members to experience their inner-child through ease of body and mind, through awareness and connection with their whole bodies. They believe that moving one's body is a truly fun experience to be enjoyed by everyone! They bring fitness to a new dimension with a positive attitude, creating a supportive motivating group atmosphere, and sharing new dynamic approaches to physical wellness that allows everyone to play again. How to prepare

Please arrive early to ensure your spot; if you do not check in at the front desk by 5 minutes before the start time of class, your reserved spot may be given to a student on the waitlist. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you are too late to join class. Classes are bare-feet, wear comfortable cloths and avoid wearing zippers/jewelry/buttons. Bring a water bottle or cup with you (no glass). If you are new to this studio, you must fill out an online waiver before your first class. If you have not completed this waiver, you will not be allowed into class. Please fill out the waiver by going to this link: https://www.waiverking.com/print/9240 Have fun!

How to get there

Athletic Playground is located on San Pablo and 48th st (we are the orange door). There is a small parking lot, and usually street parking is easily available with-in 2 blocks.

Circuit circus training at it's best with an enthusiastic teacher and a supportive group of fellow aerialists. It's intense but not undoable for a beginner like me.

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect but was super happy I found eccentrics. I learned a lot about stretching my body actively and how to making stretching a workout. It connected a lot of dots between yoga and other body-weight work outs I’ve done. I will definitely go back.

Really great foundation class. Perfect for stretching as well as activating the core and various muscles. Really left feeling taller, calmer, and more intune with my body. Perfect if you need some help with alignment. The instructor, Julie, was super friendly, warm, and helpful in supporting us. Intimate space and class size. I really enjoyed it!

What is ClassPass?

ClassPass is a new kind of gym membership that grants you access to thousands of different classes at studios and gyms in your city and around the world.

The number of classes you can take and the number of times you can visit a studio per month depends on which plan you're on.
