About this studio

Welcome to K.O. FIT, which integrates kickboxing, Muay Thai, Chinese Kickboxing (SanShous/Sanda) and various techniques used in Martial Arts. A power workout KO Fit is a great way to get in shape, improve your stamina, have fun, build skills, and connect with classmates! After a dynamic warmup to prepare you for kickboxing, participants will wear gloves, and and kick and punch pads and bags, at an appropriate level, with the instructor's guidance.

How to prepare

Please bring or wear athletic attire that you can move in easily. The studio has purified water, face/hand towels, and bath towels for your convenience. Bathrooms are equipped with showers that have toiletries and hair dryers so that class participants can get clean after a workout. The studio recommends that participants arrive early for their first class to get oriented with the space, to meet the instructor, and to learn more about what to expect. Participants are asked to bring a water bottle, gloves (if they have them), and a friend!

How to get there

Entrance on 222 Columbus Ave: At the large gray front doors, enter the code 3788 on the keypad to the left and enter the lobby. The door to the studio is located in the left side of the lobby, next to the elevator door, and the studio is downstairs. Take the elevator down one floor or enter the code 2220 on the door. Once down the stairs, the door on the right will lead to the bathrooms and changing/locker area. That code is also 2220. Class is held straight down the hall from the changing area.

Good workout and good teacher , but I suggest going with a friend. They pair you up to do boxing drills and getting punched by a stranger who may not know what theyre doing is interesting

First time doing kickboxing and had such an awesome experience! Larry was super welcoming and did a great job teaching me the basics and tailoring the workout for my level. Will definitely be back again and highly recommend this class!!

Larrys classes are great! He makes sure that you get a great workout and I always leave drenched in sweat. Its intense but not intimidating and the small class size ensures you get individual attention. Definitely one of my favorite classes!

First 15 minutes are drills, and rest of 45 min is kick boxing. Its a pretty intense class (Im new to kick boxing and slowly introducing high intensity work outs into mr routine). After making it through the first 15 min and getting gloves on, its an amazing class!!! Instructor was great and gives personal attention to clients.
