Strength & Conditioning with 30 mins of Mobility with Mackenzie
Such a great workout with a nice group of people
Sling/Lyra - Beginning with Jem
This is not your typical aerial class--there is only 1 sling and 1 lyra to share among the instructor AND the students. Most of the time was spent doing conditioning exercises that you can do on a pull up bar. Jem was so impatient and condescending to me that I wanted to leave partway through. The class was mostly conditioning exercises, and I learned only 1 move on each apparatus. I'm a pretty athletic and positive person, but I left class feeling sad... didn't even get a decent workout in.
Tumbling- Beginning with Riana
I was really surprised by how unwelcoming everyone in the front desk seemed at check-in. The class structure felt really disorganized, there was little to no intro or explanation to what exercises we were doing and why. During the last 30 or so min of class, we were given 'ideas' of exercises to do. I would've appreciated a more structured circuit format, otherwise, it's no better than an open gym class. I'm a quick learner and athletic, but the learning curve was insane because the instruction was lacking. I spent a lot of time feeling lost and needing to ask the instructor for pointers
Intro to Handbalancing with NancyKate
Awesome teacher! Learned a lot and got good tips on how to improve!
Tumbling- Intermediate with Riana
This class is great for channeling your inner child. The only thing that would make it better is if the instructors would provide spotting.
Sling/Lyra - Beginning with Jem
Great that they took the time to have us all warmed up. Instructor very knowledgeable and was able to give a lot of attention given that I was the only beginner and one other student knew what she was doing so she did her own thing. Instructor made great usage of time switching us off between Lyra and sling
Parkour with Elijah
Awesome class. Very instructive and fun
Tricking with Elijah
This was a SUPER fun class. The high level tricks are broken down into very manageable movements/exercises, and it was all really enjoyable to play around with. The coach (Elijah) was awesome, very knowledgeable and really talented. I’ll definitely be going back.
Tumbling- Beginning with Riana
SO much fun. It was like being a little kid again. Great coaching as well, awesome cues and tips to help with technique. Definitely going back.
Tumbling- Beginning with Anthony
Anthony was brilliant. Really good progression and I felt like everything I did was safe. Scary but safe
