About this class

The emphasis here is on the fundamental movements of pushing, pulling, squatting, and lifting; only once good alignment is established do they push intensity. Their thoughtful circuits include bodyweight exercises, TRX, sandbags, dumbbells, and kettlebells. Ample time is spent each session on warm-up, mobility, and flexibility.

Because of my vague familiarity with general lifting, I was generally able to get a good workout in; however, considering all the other students in the class were regulars, I wish the instructor gave me more real time feedback on my form before I later realized my poor form and poor back/core engagement likely affected me ability to fully complete the workout. When I did ask for help though, the instructor provided really useful tips and instruction with regards to the body mechanics involved.
