About this studio

Since 2001, Mission Yoga has provided a fun, vibrant, welcoming space for community and healing built on the the original hot yoga. Our studio has evolved to grow with our changing city and we were the first in San Francisco to offer both Inferno Hot Pilates (a high intensity interval training class that uses yoga postures and Pilates principles) and Buti Yoga (a powerful blend of power yoga and tribal dance set to a pumping soundtrack). In addition to new class styles, we've made improvements throughout the studio and most remarkably, added two Samadhi float tanks - turbo charge your savasana with a float after class! Winner of both the SFBG's Best of the Bay and the SF Weekly's Best of SF - come find out what the buzz is about!

Hot Yoga Chill with Matthew
Great class, hot yoga with a slower pace and music
Hot Yoga Plus with Marlene
Marlene was great and very helpful with poses! Will go back.
Inferno Hot Pilates with Bridget
Good workout but not jam.

the instructor's running monologue (her yoga training, positive energy, marathons and half marathons) made it difficult to follow the class instructions (like, which exercise, how, when to start and stop). she also pitched her in-home massage services at the end of class, which I felt was a little uncomfortable

Too hot
Inferno Hot Pilates with Steve23
It was a good workout. I sweat a lot! The room smelt gross though because they have carpet instead of hardwood floors. I probably won’t go back...

Omg! So intense and so fun. Great class
Express Hot Yoga with Juicy
The heater broke. teacher asked someone in class to teach the class. 60 minutes later heater is still broken and someone in yoga class is still teaching yoga. Did not sweat a drop in hot yoga. there was no apology / announcent for what happened...
Inferno Hot Pilates with Bridget
I love this class, with other instructors, but didn't have a great experience tonight. the instructor wasn't very easy to follow (for instance, she chose to sit for the multipart hands-and-knees seat work, which made it impossible to see her from the back row. her mic, which she replaced at the beginning of class, either broke intermittently or was switched off). I'll be back to this studio for sure, but might hesitate before taking this particular time slot again
Bikram Yoga with Juicy
Smelly carpeted floor
