About this studio

Since 2001, Mission Yoga has provided a fun, vibrant, welcoming space for community and healing built on the the original hot yoga. Our studio has evolved to grow with our changing city and we were the first in San Francisco to offer both Inferno Hot Pilates (a high intensity interval training class that uses yoga postures and Pilates principles) and Buti Yoga (a powerful blend of power yoga and tribal dance set to a pumping soundtrack). In addition to new class styles, we've made improvements throughout the studio and most remarkably, added two Samadhi float tanks - turbo charge your savasana with a float after class! Winner of both the SFBG's Best of the Bay and the SF Weekly's Best of SF - come find out what the buzz is about!

Express Hot Yoga Beats with Marlene
It was way too hot. I know you said “some ppl want it hotter and some want lesss hot” so why not offer different temp classes? Standard Bikram is 105-110 degrees, and this studio sometimes cranks it up to 115. But you never know when it will be good hot VS way too hot and nobody can move
Express Hot Yoga Beats with Marlene
This class is funky & energetic while still maintaining proper poses & form. Really loved it. Super hot.
Bikram Yoga with Nick
Loved the pace of the class. Great studio and location
Buti Yoga with Morgan
So hard and so fun. Best class in SF.
Inferno Hot Pilates with Morgan
Morgan was so much fun. Also, be ready to sweat a lot.
Hot Yoga Chill with Matthew
Unprofessional instructor, class description was not accurate
Inferno Hot Pilates with Z
Hard to hear the teacher but good sweat!
Inferno Hot Pilates with Z
Quite smelly but you get used to it in a minute. I do truly think its TOO hot though...or that maybe more tests are needed? Z is super enthusiastic, but doesnt do the moves with us, so maybe shes unaware?
Hot Yoga Chill with Matthew
Matthew is a very kind soul, and certainly works hard - I do wonder if the class suffers when the teacher is doing every pose as the time on each side of the body sometimes feels inconsistent.
Buti Yoga with Morgan
Best class ever!
