About this studio

Since 2001, Mission Yoga has provided a fun, vibrant, welcoming space for community and healing built on the the original hot yoga. Our studio has evolved to grow with our changing city and we were the first in San Francisco to offer both Inferno Hot Pilates (a high intensity interval training class that uses yoga postures and Pilates principles) and Buti Yoga (a powerful blend of power yoga and tribal dance set to a pumping soundtrack). In addition to new class styles, we've made improvements throughout the studio and most remarkably, added two Samadhi float tanks - turbo charge your savasana with a float after class! Winner of both the SFBG's Best of the Bay and the SF Weekly's Best of SF - come find out what the buzz is about!

Bikram Yoga with Karen
Class was too cold. She turned the fan/air conditioner on one third of the way through the class and it significantly cooled the room down. This studio is consistently one of the coldest studios for Bikram Yoga in the area. Workouts are always disappointing. Cold rooms can easily lead to injuries.
Hot Yoga Chill with Matthew
Class was good although I would have preferred a little more correction. Found it a little bizarre that you were meant to pay for tap water when you had your own bottle - although that didn’t seem to be enforced.
Buti Yoga with Madison
This was the first time I’ve ever walked out of a ClassPass class early. I felt the teacher was dull (I didn’t even know buti could feel dull) and also seemed pretty novice and the transitions weren’t very smooth.
Inferno Hot Pilates with Steve23
The whole studio is so old and stinky. It was making me uncomfortable and had to leave early. I want a refund of credits.
Inferno Hot Pilates with Lindsey
This class was definitely challenging, especially in the hot and humid environment. It's a day later, and I'm sore, which is great. I just wish the music was better because it jumped from genre to genre in a non-fluid way. Also, you'd have to really watch your form since the instructor offered little oversight in that area.
Express Hot Yoga with Juicy
Great class, hardest hot yoga I have taken
Express Hot Yoga with Juicy
Class went 10 mins long. Didn’t offer any variations for newer students. Its a great studio, I just prefer other teachers.
Bikram Yoga with Aurelle
Aurelle is awesome!
Buti Yoga with Madison
New instructor who did an exceptional job. I wish this class was offered every day of the week!
Inferno Hot Pilates with Sedra
Cool teacher and setting, good temperature but very repetitive sets that hurt my neck and back.
