How to prepare

WHAT TO BRING/EXPECT... • A towel, if desired (CORE40 is an ecoconscious organization and does not offer towel service due to the water wastage it creates). • A water bottle, which you can fill using our filtered water system. • Please wear anything you might feel comfortable doing yoga or running in. • The CORE40 workout is done wearing grip socks (recommended) or barefoot. We have grip socks for sale at the studio. • Expect a high intensity class!

How to get there

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY... Please arrive a few minutes prior to any class start time. Your spot will be held up to the minute class starts, then it may be given to a standby client. If it's your first class, you MUST arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the class start time, in order to get the machine rundown. If you do not arrive early, you will be asked to reschedule your first class, due to safety concerns. Refer to our FAQ section for more detail on our late arrival policy and other helpful info.

I love Core 40, but will go with another instructor next time. I told the instructor that it was my first ramped class and asked if there was anything I needed to know. She said no and that she controls the ramping. I started the class on a machine which, it turned out, the studio had identified as being broken. The instructor didnt notice and move me to another machine until I called her over to 5 minutes in to ask why she wasnt ramping my machine. Wish I could have gotten a better orientation when I asked for it!

Ashley was kind of rude when my ramp didnt work and I requested help and she was also kind of absentminded during class and didnt really help modify for my injury (but she was maybe having a spacey dayshe even said, happy last day of September, tomorrow is November! I was like umm.) My least favorite core40 instructor Ive had.

What is ClassPass?

ClassPass is a new kind of gym membership that grants you access to thousands of different classes at studios and gyms in your city and around the world.

Price of membership depends on your plan type and city, and you can book and explore classes ranging from yoga to barre to cycling to martial arts – the options are truly endless!

The number of classes you can take and the number of times you can visit a studio per month depends on which plan you're on. You can figure out which plan you're on by going to your Account Settings and looking under 'Your current plan.' With hundreds of studios in our ever-growing network, you're bound to always find a new class to enjoy. When your cycle renews, you can go back and revisit those favorites yet again!
