About this studio

The Pure Barre technique is low-impact, protecting your joints by avoiding any bouncing or jumping. Each strength section of the workout is followed by a stretching section in order to create long, lean muscles without bulk. The technique works to defy gravity by tapering everything in and lifting it up! Please be aware classes start on time and clients should arrive 15 minutes early. Doors will lock at the start of class. Socks are required!

How to prepare

1. New students must arrive 15 mins early to fill out paperwork, regardless of having been to other Pure Barres 2. They cannot accommodate anyone who is late. 3. Pants, legging or capris (no shorts) + top that covers midriff + socks required (no open-toed socks, shoes, or barefoot) 4. Shoes & cell phones are not allowed in studio 5. Please let the instructor know of any injuries 6. Pregnant clients: always consult with your doctor before beginning a new exercise routine

Very clean and friendly. Bit hard to follow for beginners, as the pace was high. Fun though :) could hardly move for 2 days!

It was challenging but the instructor seemed disengaged at the beginning and didn't do any sort of intro before launching into the workout. Few demonstrations of the positions, which made it difficult for a beginner to understand what was going on. At other studios the instructors also usually introduces herself to the newbies to make them feel comfortable. It was a bit awkward. The workout was good though. And the woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.
