About this studio

The Bar Method® is a one-hour, non-impact total body workout. It starts with a warm-up, free-weight exercises and push-ups and then moves on to intense, isometric leg work at the bar, followed by abdominal work at the bar and on mats. Every exercise includes active stretching to elongate the targeted muscles. The Bar Method is a challenge to both your cardiovascular system and your muscle strength, delivering a high level of overall fitness.

How to prepare

1.New students must arrive 15 mins early 2.Socks & pants required,no shorts 3.Only non breakable water containers allowed 4.No gum or cell phones 5.Instructors may adjust your body / call your name out in class 6.Pregnant students that are new to The Bar Method must take a prenatal class first. Returning students UNDER 20 WEEKS may take any class provided they meet the prerequisites. Students over 20 weeks may not take Express or Move without approval from the instructor.Students over 20 weeks may not take Express or Move w/o approval.

How to get there

Please note that we do not have a parking lot. However, there is be plenty of metered parking in the area.

Gorgeous studio and tough workout but class felt a little too full. Also really didn’t like the super exclusive marina lululemon vibe that the instructor fully embraced and even joked about during class? Not my kind of place; i wouldn’t come back.

What is ClassPass?
