About this class

Modern Rhythms , part of the Rhythm & Motion Dance Workout program, is an energetic workout that integrates the best of contemporary movement from across many movement disciplines. Build core technique through floor-barre inspired choreography. Then, take that deep strength into standing choreography: warm-ups that build technical skills and get you moving, culminating in choreography that moves you across the floor, around the room - dances that lift the energy for the entire class. Suggested attire: comfortable clothing that you can easily move in (e.g. tank tops, t-shirts, shorts, sweats, yoga pants). This class in done in bare feet.

Definitely not for beginners but really fun and a great workout
Rhythm & Motion (Modern) with Susan
Good cardio, but very difficult without a solid dance background. No break down of steps, but choreo is fast with lots of turns/kicks
Rhythm & Motion (Modern) with Susan
Soooo fun

This class was too hard for beginners (Latin and hip hop experience doesnt help). The instructor doesnt slow things down. I also dont have eyes on the back of my head, so with all the spinning, its hard to see the next step.
Rhythm & Motion (Modern) with Susan
Couldnt really hear what the teacher is saying except and!! Wish there are more call-outs to what we should do next when everything is moving so fast.
Rhythm & Motion (Modern) with Ken
Zero instruction.
Rhythm & Motion (Modern) with Stephanie
The teacher doesnt break down the movement at all or teach technique and the entire class is jumping from one combination to another. As someone who has danced before, I felt lost. There were a number of students who seemed like they were regulars and they knew all the combinations. By taking this class will I become a better dancer? No. Was the class fun? Yes, you just have to be in the mindset of going with the flow.
