Awesome class and loved the clubby vibe. Would’ve appreciated some corrections though since me (and I felt some others) had no idea what we were doing on the boxing segment.

This studio, class and teacher are amazing! I knew Charlie from his Barry Bootcamp days and he has definitely growled even stronger as a teacher! The studio is very clean especially when you walk into the actual room. The treadmills are all touchscreen and are easy to adjust speed and incline. They are state of the art treadmills and will soon become hooked! Loved the organized individual platform that each client has. It already has various weight sizes underneath so you don’t have to waste time running to find your weights. Also towels are given out to wipe off your sweat. Charlie’s teaching pumps you up! He motivates you a walks around the room to make sure everyone can see what the exercise is. It’s also helpful that the studio has huge screens so you can see Charlie from there as well in case if he’s in a blind spot. His music selection is lit=the best!

Love Shea! One of the best at Barry’s. Challenging endurance runs. Feedback for all: Runs are best when they’re simple. Short bursts of changing speed/elevation in short time increments take mental overhead to listen/think instead of pushing to my limit which is what I’m trying to do.

Having completed nearly 500 classes on ClassPass, I can honestly say this was one of the most well instructed, motivating, and challenging classes I have taken. Carlos structured the class to accommodate all fitness levels and challenge multiple parts of the body at one time for a true full body workout. He was not only extremely knowledgeable, but conveyed a genuine care and passion for his profession and students. If you’re anywhere close to this studio his class is a must! I've really come to appreciate Keri's intermediate class - she will transform you into an aerial badass. Class mostly focuses on foundational work such as single knee hangs, meat hooks and planches. Tricks seem to come second which is fine in my opinion. Without correct form you have nothing right? Keri's teaching style is more direct but don't let that intimidate you - she wants to ensure you're doing it correctly and you'll thank her later for it.

I had been to this studio under previous ownership and I don't care for the front section of the space so I was relieved this class was in the larger back area of the studio. The person at the front desk was welcoming, Denis immediately introduced himself, and another instructor who was using the space before we got started also introduced himself. The 2 dogs milling around the studio didn't seem to care about me one way or another but I tried not to take it personally. ;) Denis was a great instructor. He knew everyone's name, gave consistent positive feedback, and helped everyone with their form. It was a challenging class but I left feeling accomplished because of the positive environment.

I liked it. I'd give it a 7-8/10 in terms of physical intensity. It was a small group (7 people) and I liked that a lot, and felt pretty welcoming and friendly. Then we proceeded to do groups of 4 sets of exercises - alternating between two exercises, 4 sets each, then do another set of 4-4, and ending with some core. I got pretty sweaty and definitely feel all the lunges and squats we did (I like that they have a stronger emphasis than most on those). Very nice facilities, bathroom was nice and they have a shower. The space is a little cramped but given the exercises we did it was fine. Overall had a fun experience getting a good workout.

    Mat Pilates

This gym is located next to the Tonga Room inside the hotel. The locker room is pretty nice, but the class space is a little awkward since when you walk down the stairs youre basically inside it. Denice was super nice and our class only had three students. We did mat Pilates using balls as props. I had not done Pilates in a long time and this class made me remember why I love it. Its fun and relaxing and all those small movements count. The hour flew by! The one big drawback was the music - it was Muzak type music of mostly pop hits, although they did throw in the Game or Thrones theme in there too. It was annoying enough that I even would have preferred no music, and Im big on music during workouts. It sounded like we were in an elevator for a whole hour. Music aside, great class and Ill be back!

Fernando is amazing! He was really encouraging the whole time and changed the intensity of some workouts depending on your level. Plus being outdoors at the park is super refreshing! I really enjoyed his class :).
