    Andre (for Tues noon class) was attentive, motivating, and upbeat, per usual. The workout itself was great for working all the major muscle groups, in addition to challenging balance and stability. He's definitely become one of my favorite instructors!

    Iyengar Yoga

    Tony is a fantastic instructor who has a surgeon-like precise attention to form. Even in a class with many students, he makes many individual adjustments. As other have noted, his style of teaching is a unique counterpoint to the typical hippie-dippy "find your center" and "loving kindness" approach to yoga. There is a place for both, but if you want to emphasize improving your physical capabilities, Tony's class has a lot to offer.

    I've really come to appreciate Keri's intermediate class - she will transform you into an aerial badass. Class mostly focuses on foundational work such as single knee hangs, meat hooks and planches. Tricks seem to come second which is fine in my opinion. Without correct form you have nothing right? Keri's teaching style is more direct but don't let that intimidate you - she wants to ensure you're doing it correctly and you'll thank her later for it.

    I had been to this studio under previous ownership and I don't care for the front section of the space so I was relieved this class was in the larger back area of the studio. The person at the front desk was welcoming, Denis immediately introduced himself, and another instructor who was using the space before we got started also introduced himself. The 2 dogs milling around the studio didn't seem to care about me one way or another but I tried not to take it personally. ;) Denis was a great instructor. He knew everyone's name, gave consistent positive feedback, and helped everyone with their form. It was a challenging class but I left feeling accomplished because of the positive environment.

    GLEN Kickboxing 101

    So much fun! Small class size so lots of form correction and adjustments from Jorje, who was a wonderfully patient and encouraging instructor. Only learned a few basic punches and kicks but worked up a disgusting sweat and loved every second of it. Wraps arent necessary but theyre good to have.

    Love this gym. The space is not only big, it's wide, so it's easy to space out, find a spot somewhere to workout where you're not seen or in someone else's space the entire time, and just feel secluded. In a good way. The lights are dim and calming, in my opinion. I prefer this gym over Union St. or Chestnut, which are smaller and everyone can watch you workout. I'm usually in and out of those locations, while this one makes you feel comfortable to stay a while.
