About this studio

What will YOU find at the bar? 202strong will teach you proper lifting technique, set you up to get stronger in their strength cycle, and put your new strength and body awareness to good use in their signature StrongCircuits. Be prepared to learn, lift, and challenge yourself. All classes are suitable for beginners and advanced athletes alike. All form is taught in every class and you do not need any prior experience. 202strong prides itself on scaling the movements to fit your personal fitness level. Every class is composed of a group led warm-up, instruction, strength, and StrongCircuit. One day a week there is no strength component but instead an extended StrongCircuit! 202 296 1949

How to prepare

They teach you everything you need to know in class so all you need to bring is your excitement to learn, sweat, and challenge your fitness in a completely new way. If you arrive 10 minutes late, you will not be able to attend your class due to lack of warm-up. This is for your own safety and experience in our classes! The warm-ups are an essential part of class!

How to get there

They are in the basement level of 1722 I street. You will see their door on the street level and follow the stairs/signs to the bottom. You can then check in at the front desk.

Excellent workout. Used my whole body and a great combination of technical fighting and cardio fitness. Anthony was a great teacher and 10/10 will go again.

This class was great! Definitely challenging but in a good way. The description is accurate in that you don’t need experience but I will say, I’m not sure that this class would be good for someone who is just beginning their fitness journey. Highly recommend the class though! I plan to go back for one of the many classes offered.

Pretty good workout. it was hot in the studio and there were only a couple fans for a huge room.
Fighter Fitness with Anthony
Good workout and fun instructor. But the class only lasted 35 minutes and there was no stretching at the end. Many people do ths class before the boxing basics one and it seemed like it was geared toward them.

You could make the class as easy or as hard as you wanted. Instructor was good and would give you subtle encouragement at the point when you needed it the most. Recommend for all fitness levels - you make it want you want it to be
Self Defense: Real World Training with Anthony
Note to students because this is not included in the class description: this is not a complete self-defense workshop. This is a couple of preselected techniques from a self-defense system with different techniques each class. You would need to come multiple times for a good, basic understanding of the system. With that in mind, good class.
