Ashley was great at getting the crowd excited despite being at 7:15AM, truly amazed at the energy in the room. She was super motivational but I wish she made a couple of adjustments or comments for the newer people in the room — how to modify, explaining or slowing down on the handlebar choreography to keep everyone included.

I wish the studio would lower the volume of the music. It is so jarring right when you walk in to have the music blasting so loud you have to practically shout just to check in. I feel stressed out when I should feel relaxed before a high-intensity workout. The actual class is amazing.

Class was great! Not for the faint of heart. I would strongly recommend arriving those 15min early! I’m grateful they let me in since I technically arrived only 5min before class was starting. My only complaint was that they positioned my saddle an inch too high which didn’t allow me to fully commit to some of the exercises (the saddle kept grazing my crotch), and the handlebars were a bit further out than it should’ve been for petite me. They did try to work on positioning it at the beginning but the class was starting and the music was loud so it was hard to hear what they were asking of me. For you, i would recommend on arrival to check and see which weights are at the bike (they’re positioned by the saddle)—I ended up having 5lb weights at mine and they were heavier for me than I would’ve liked. Luckily, the person next to me saw me struggling and switched weights with me so halfway through the exercises I ended up using the 2lb weights instead (they also have 3lb weights). Other than that, the music and experience was great and the instructor was very motivating. I cycle but this is definitely another level of cycling that’s enjoyable when the weather isn’t great outside.

The instructor made the class really fun and I was pleasantly surprised how sweaty and enjoyable the workout was. As a spin newbie though, some of the lingo was a bit confusing so I was often looking at others to know what was going on. The woman who checked me in was busy with others too so I just advise people who are super new to this to be aware of that. Not a bad thing as they seemed to be chill, but the whole experience definitely went quickly!

    Gym Time

I always have a good experience at Mint for open gym. The equipment is everything I need, but the extras like coffee and extremely nice showers make it someplace I really want to go. Staff is always friendly as well.

IN STUDIO: Sweat + P30 Booty - MASK REQUIRED

I was very impressed with the COVID safety precautions, including the spaces marked on the floor and smaller class sizes. Sarrina was very friendly and encouraging. The title is ACCURATE! you will sweat and your booty will be on fire! I was confused as to how this class works but they do a HIIT style workout for the first 30 minutes (the sweat) and then transition to barre exercises for the second half (P30 booty). I liked it and will return!

    barre3 Signature 60

Really fantastic instructor. This is the most consistent barre3 studio Ive been to when it comes to awesome instructors and really challenging workouts. My only complain here is the music is just TOO loud. It was legitimately hurting my ears today. The instructors keep turning it up during the class and it reaches unhealthy levels. I know Im not just being dramatic about it because Ive seen so many other comments on here about it too so I wish they would take that feedback and turn it down a bit and just keep it at a consistent level. Turning it up and down through class is also distracting. This wont keep be from coming back as Ill just bring ear plugs, but still wish theyd listen.
