From the calming aromas of lavenders to the clean, welcoming space to the friendly staff to the skilled, professional massage therapist, I really enjoyed my experience. Tuya the massage therapist is friendly, skilled and thoughtful in her techniques. She made sure I was comfortable and really worked out all my knots. I can’t wait to go back.

    Just used the treadmill really so can’t speak to much, but it seemed like a nice gym for lots of other exercises too. There was a pool and sauna, and the lockers were clean. Note for others: it’s in the hotel, down some stairs. Maybe I’m just clueless, but it took me a long time to find the entrance.

    Great class! Started with some bodyweight exercises to get warmed up, moved on to footwork and then technique with plenty of time to practice. They do a great job of really building from the ground up. Feel comfortable whether it’s your first time seeing boxing gloves or you’ve been in practice for years- you’ll still get a great workout and develop your technique. (It’s the big red building with giant firehouse doors. There’s a gate door that leads to an outdoor hallway to the right of the building. The door knob has a little key pad to put in the code and get in. Then there’s a doorway to your left that leads into the gym)

    This class was really good. It definitely challenged me but I would say that the instructor was not the friendliest. He didn’t introduce himself or ask me my name until the end of class, only acknowledged me as a new participant when I put my mat to close to where he usually stands. Aside from that, it was great. The instructor pushes you to your limit and motivates you during the class.

    Great circuit workout with varied stations. Easy to follow the circuits and exercises are posted, but could definitely be more challenging for a beginner to follow and complete, though modifications are possible and you can certainly take as many breaks as you need during a set. I also am not afraid of heavier weights but found the lightest options for some of the exercises to be more of a moderate level especially given the length of sets and pace of the class. Overall I'm looking forward to returning!

    Calla is one of the toughest coaches I have taken at [solidcore] and it’s SO HARD but I love it. The moves are simpler but held or done longer. The shakes are more violent and you have to take breaks to survive. I will say that the soreness the next few days feels like VICTORY. Such a great class.

    Anika‘a studio is small yet charming. You enter through the “yoga” door, up the stairs next to Olympia Cafe (which was a nice treat after class.) The active yoga was exactly what I was hoping for—a nice blend of movement, stretching, and meditation. Anika mentioned that occasionally the schedule on classpass won’t update in a timely fashion, so I’d recommend checking her website to confirm the class.
