How it works

About this class

Aerial Yoga is a blend of yoga and aerial circus arts, utilizing a silk hammock as a prop to aid the students in surrender during the traditional postures that are difficult to achieve due to physical injuries or emotional fear. Practicing aerial yoga helps with natural alignment and decompression of the spine and joints.

Beginner Aerial Yoga
The class was a lot of fun. The instructor was very patient, and she helped everyone get into the more challenging poses. Would go back again.

Neelam is awesome and really tailors her class towards the different skill levels of her students to ensure that everyone is safe and comfortable.
Beginner Aerial Yoga
This was my first time trying aerial and the instructor was great and made sure I felt comfortable in the swing and showed me modifications. She also went around to stretch out each student. I would definitely come back.
Beginner Aerial Yoga with Neelam
Great if you want to ease into hanging around on silks. Did some inversions, stretches. You won't break a sweat, so if you're looking to do that, try a different class.
Beginner Aerial Yoga with Neelam
The class moves at a great pace, switching between deep stretches to inversions to give you a full body workout. Neelam really tailors each class to her students and their different skill levels, making sure everyone is comfortable.
Beginner Aerial Yoga with Neelam
Great class for all levels! The instructor is very supportive, encouraging, and attentive. I highly recommend this class.
Beginner Aerial Yoga with Neelam
Instructor was selective in whom she paid attention to. Class jumps right in with hanging upside down. Seems more for those who are already fit. There were too many people signed up for the class so the instructor had to model while one person watches because she had to give her own silk to the instructor.
