    Hatha Align

We practiced like 3-5 major poses in this class during the span of 90 minutes. Dustin pushed us quite a lot, but if you're ballerina-flexible, then it'll be easy. He's very precise and demonstrates all of the moves before our turn, so that was really nice. I noticed that in my classes at Yoga Garden, they don't really come by to help you adjust? So not sure if I'm doing well or they just don't give corrections?

This was the first class I really enjoyed at this studio. I appreciated the fast pace of Chelseah's class and worked up a good sweat (also the room is very warm.) My only critique is that it's hard to give adjustments when we're moving so fast so I wasn't always sure if my positions were right.

Becca is truly special. She makes you feel calm and confident trying new moves. Going to her classes always expands my practice. I love how every class works up to a complicated move. She walks you through how to get there and encourages to try something new, but listen to your body. I feel so lucky to be able to go to her classes. She’s incredible.

I really liked the pacing of this class. Mario was super hands-on, and had a lightness and sense of humor about him that made the class very enjoyable. This class didnt feel more intense than basic yoga classes Ive attended at other studios, but it was the first class Ive enjoyed at Laughing Lotus (other classes I find to have too much chanting and appropriated spirituality.)

This class was everything I expected and more. This was my first time at this studio and for this class, and after I signed in and took a peek through the door, I couldn't wait to go in. It was warm, dim, and inviting. The stretches aren't always 100% comfortable, which makes this a very productive Yin class, as some classes are more relaxing than this. Still I could zone out and relax and will definitely be back to this class.

Beautiful studio. The salt walls are incredible to practice next to. I wouldn’t consider this a hot class. I didn’t break a sweat but it was a nice change to practice in a cooler studio and have more control of my muscles. The instructor was excellent. Her cues were clear and her practice flowed nicely. She even integrated her singing bowl and essential oils into the practice which was such a treat.
