Love Will + how he always plans class around a different theme. He murdered our thighs today, so went a bit lighter for glutes (ie designated less time), but still managed to give us both a standing + floor clamshell series. Didn’t quite understand why he opted to have us do standing hairpin bc the barre spots at this studio are significant smaller than 57th location, so with full extension as I practice, my foot was basically in the face of the 2 ppl next to me. Otherwise, core work was extensive (huge fan of using the band when it’s looped over the barre), and class was nonstop!

Alicia was amazing! I’ve been wanting to take her class and I am so glad that I did! The workout was challenging but fun and I really felt like I maximized my lunch hour. When I don’t go to Physique for a few weeks I can really feel the difference between the Physique method and any other barre class at another studio.

Really enjoyed this class. It was a slow burn - mixing yoga, balance moves, low impact cardio, light weights, and Barre. Lots to mix it up do it went by fast. The space is clean with good natural lighting. Jenna's very knowledgeable and gives great cues but more hands on adjustments may have helped. And I'd love more recognizable/popular music. It's mainly just rhythmic dancey tunes that aren't particularly fun or motivating. Still a great full body workout for all levels.

Narissa’s class was a lot harder than the other instructors I’ve taken at this location. She is super motivating and bubbly but I found myself having to modify a lot of the choreography because it was heavily focused on doing the same muscle until it fails which will definitely get you results but I need to work those muscles up to that level. Wish the class would have had an intermediate tag in the description.

For some classes, the quality and energy level of your instructor means everything. The Bar Method is one of those classes, and Nikki is an awesome instructor. She is sweet, energetic, and encouraging, entertaining you with funny stories to take your mind off the at-times painful work you are doing. Plus, she will subtly make sure to correct your form, so you can avoid injury, without making you feel embarrassed or singled out. Mixed is a well-rounded barre class that will leave you feeling energized, with loose and limber muscles, for the rest of your day. A great way to start your weekend.

The best! A Challenging, non-stop, full body, low impact, but high intensity workout that tests your balance, coordination, strength + muscle endurance in a completely different way from strength training / lifting. It’s pretty much a mega former class, but without the machine, using bungees + gliders instead. Caroline always puts in so much thought into her profiles to continually keep them interesting, creative + burn worthy. There’s nothing better than an instructor who truly loves what she does, wants to give her students a 5 star show week after week + who’s genuinely interested in demanding more from attendees.

Prime example of why I love classpass. I feel like I just found my home gym. This was the 5th place I’ve tried on my classpass trial and I’m done. The search. Is. Over. Jeni gave me corrections I know I need to work on that no other trainer has corrected at any of the other 4 places I’ve tried. I’ve worked with a personal trainer before and class with Jeni was reminiscent of that. 4 people in class and tons of attention. Not like any other class. Beautiful location too. 5 stars hidden gem.
