This class is a lot larger than the one in Fidi. Despite the size, Michelle was able to adjust accordingly and make the class work. Every move hurt but felt incredible. She patiently corrected my form when necessary without making me feel too pressured to execute. Wasn’t a fan of Michelle’s country music however, recommend it playing mainstream top hits.

Lindi class is always fun and engaging - flies by so quick. I usually take a lunchtime class at this location and really enjoy it. The others in class are varying age and abilities so no need to feel intimidated or like its clique-Ish. Havent experienced any teachers having favorites its really a well rounded experience here. Clean, good vibes, fun work out.

This class wasn't AS insanely hard as some other Physique57 classes I've taken (or maybe I just wasn't pushing myself hard enough?) but I still got a great full body toning session- loved the amount of ab work we did! Spencer's music choices are so good, and I really appreciate how much fun he has (and therefore we have) with the "thigh dance" section.

    SHAKTIBARRE

This has to be the hardest class at SHAKTIBARRE. The only feedback I have is that it can feel a bit like you have to push past your limits, which could lead to injury. I’m someone that has very tight hips, for example. I found myself being encouraged to keep getting lower in my squats, but my body can’t quite get there, and probably never will. It would be nice if she would encourage pushing yourself to your personal limit, and that it’s ok to make adjustments based on that. With that said- I also think Maria is great! :)

Maddy was great! She uses some yoga-like mantras about breathing through the class which is a nice relief to the pain of barre! I only wish that she would provide more hands-on corrections, since it's so hard to know if your form is correct in Barre. She rarely corrected anyone but did do a good job of verbalizing how your stance should be. She also was nice about providing modifications upfront if you felt any pain in specific areas.

Love love love Jason! From his burner thigh sections, attention paid to all student’s forms, clear instructions, fun playlists + extra long core work, his classes are always well rounded, intense, challenging + productive. (Ex: 1st set of thighs covered incline chair into rocking chair, flat back chair into hovered heel upright parallel. 2nd set was incline fourth position on each leg with round back chair. Intermission set was water ski - all moves using the ball). Not a moment of class is wasted!

Cameron is great - friendly and helpful with really clear tips and instructions. This was a tough full body workout and my butt was so sore after but in a good way! My only criticism with fly Barre classes overall is the music which can be a bit boring and unrecognizable. I'd love it if they incorporated more upbeat, popular songs like flywheel. Still really enjoyed the class.

I love this class for when I want to have a relaxing meditation with some movement. Fantastic class, fun and time flew by because non stop movement! Instructor was upbeat and encouraging and I liked her music. I could see why other people said it’s confusing but if you are work out regularly and are familiar with different exercises it’s not that hard to keep up. Way better than their regular barre class which I find slow and not that challenging and use as a rest day workout. Also this studio was lovely and the room was nice and warm which is better for this type of excercise.

For some classes, the quality and energy level of your instructor means everything. The Bar Method is one of those classes, and Nikki is an awesome instructor. She is sweet, energetic, and encouraging, entertaining you with funny stories to take your mind off the at-times painful work you are doing. Plus, she will subtly make sure to correct your form, so you can avoid injury, without making you feel embarrassed or singled out. Mixed is a well-rounded barre class that will leave you feeling energized, with loose and limber muscles, for the rest of your day. A great way to start your weekend.

Amazing class! She definitely turned things up a notch + gave us longer power sets of thighs + glutes to really get the burn going today. Our instructor Megan was great, she took the time to correct my stance several times. Was concise and easy to follow. She also topped off the class with an adjustment and aromatherapy with tea tree oil. Playlist was a fun mix which helped to keep me engaged. The facilities need work, a lot of keys are missing on the lockers and the heat was disappointing. Temperature was turned on at 100 but it felt like 80 tops. After six months of being sedentary, I’m so glad I decided to jump back into wellness with this amazing studio. The space is small so be mindful of that if you are on the toll side but other than that, the class was amazing. Low-key enough for a beginner but challenging enough for a seasoned athlete. The instructor, Kim put me at ease and let us make some modifications and go at our own pace while allowing more experienced students to take on more advanced repetitions. Pure Barre

The instructor was great. She took time before the class to give me and my wife a mini tutorial and gave us realistic expectations. Such as the fact the throughout the class we would be shaking and that is normal for first timers. She also took time after the class to talk to us encourage us to come back or even try another instructor. The class was great and it kicked our butts. 2 days later and I am still sore.

    HARD-YOGA-BURN

Ozzy was a very engaging teacher and led thru a good pace flow, it was hard and refreshing. decent sweat. recommend for people who have taken yoga before and want a nice core and leg workout. not many people in class so she corrected and deepened poses for you as needed

    Core Barre (mixed)

Danielle was really great. Despite being pregnant with twins, she really had tremendous energy, was able to demonstrate several moves, gave great form corrections, and was all-around very positive. The studio itself is not at all what one might imagine when picturing a Manhattan-style barre studio, but in its little tucked-behind-a-church kitsch, it was very cute and totally served the purpose well. Class was a bit challenging, too! Definitely recommend.
