    Class starts off like a nightmare and pushes you to points where you rethink your ability to finish, but Emily’s energy and ability to mold the workout from start to finish with hard pushes followed by recoveries (where you’re still working hard) was terrific.     Space was gorgeous as was all of the equipment. Check out the fantastic wall paper in the bathroom. Paige was on it! Knew everyone's names, did verbal and physical corrections. Class was hard! I really want to love barre. I'll be back to try.

    Great, challenging class. Alex was super fun and friendly. The class was diverse and well structured along to really good music.     I write this every wk, but Alex is one of the best core fusion instructors (top 5 for sure!), always providing challenging profiles + making the most use of the hour. Prepare for 4 sets of thighs with a glute intermission, both a barre + floor glute set, 2 plank series, then lengthy flat back + round back ab series. He’s incredibly attentive + hands on, all while keeping his cues on point. Wish he trained other instructors Bc they should all be on this level of intensity!

    This was my first core fusion cardio class, and I actually liked it better than the cardio+barre version. I thought Rachel was really encouraging, but I wish she did more with us instead of walking around individually because everyone was on a different side and it was distracting. I also would have liked more correction on form if she was going to keep coming around. All in all a great class!

    Maybe one of the best classes I've taken with Alex - super long thigh set with 5 different positions that got us burning + 5 different sets of abs throughout class that hit everything. He does tend to get very distracted while correcting student's form, resulting in us either doing far more reps on one side compared to the other or skipping something that was done on the other side.

    Fantastic class, fun and time flew by because non stop movement! Instructor was upbeat and encouraging and I liked her music. I could see why other people said it’s confusing but if you are work out regularly and are familiar with different exercises it’s not that hard to keep up. Way better than their regular barre class which I find slow and not that challenging and use as a rest day workout. Also this studio was lovely and the room was nice and warm which is better for this type of excercise.

    For some classes, the quality and energy level of your instructor means everything. The Bar Method is one of those classes, and Nikki is an awesome instructor. She is sweet, energetic, and encouraging, entertaining you with funny stories to take your mind off the at-times painful work you are doing. Plus, she will subtly make sure to correct your form, so you can avoid injury, without making you feel embarrassed or singled out.     Tara is the best. Literally the best motivator, the best teacher and the most "together" instructor there is! The one thing that is frustrating is how the mats and floor aren't ever clean. This was the first class of the day and my mat was filthy. For such an otherwise upscale place this is really strange and this is a recurring issue. They should just have everyone clean their own mats after class if it is too much work to clean between sessions.

    Reform is such an amazing workout, amping up classic in the best way possible - I consider this style to be more advanced, since it requires a different level of balance, coordination + definitely targets the muscles more aggressively with the bungees and gliders vs the ball / tube in classic. Shocked there weren’t more ppl in class bc Caroline is a wonderful instructor, always finding interesting + creative ways to incorporate upper body work during thighs, and hitting the core non stop. Wish the thigh section was a bit longer today, but otherwise zero complaints or critiques which is a rarity for me!

    Great class! Not the most challenging barre class I’ve been to but it was challenging enough and fun. Emily was encouraging, attentive, and tried to make it fun by trying to encourage participants to dance, for example. I love shaktibarre. It’s such a welcoming studio and it’s rare to find a studio with so many good instructors. I’ve tried the yoga, barre, and core classes, and they were all great. Highly recommend!

    Our instructor Megan was great, she took the time to correct my stance several times. Was concise and easy to follow. She also topped off the class with an adjustment and aromatherapy with tea tree oil. Playlist was a fun mix which helped to keep me engaged. The facilities need work, a lot of keys are missing on the lockers and the heat was disappointing. Temperature was turned on at 100 but it felt like 80 tops. I felt a strong draft from the window throughout the class.

We went through a mix of total body exercises that focused on core stability, and used light weights, a Pilates ball, and a yoga block as props. Such as the fact the throughout the class we would be shaking and that is normal for first timers.
