    I love the mix of exercises in the class and how Morgan makes it non-intimidating regardless of your level. By far the best boxing class I have had in New York. You get to learn techniques unlike those fancy places that the instructor never checks your form. But you also get to punch the bag, which is something a generic gym just can’t offer.     Blake is obviously really seasoned as an instructor and is comfortable directing the room. There’s always a sense of everything going off without a hitch and according to plan. We move a bit more quickly than I’m used to—even for vinyasa—but it’s still a manageable pace. Generally, class structure starts slow, then picks up a little speed with each iteration of the flow, then there’s a point where the repetition sort of locks into your muscle memory and it’s almost like we’re doing a kind of yoga choreography, hit the peak pose (which Blake demos at the beginning of class), and then winds down and caps off with a longer savasana/meditation. Accommodating and friendly vibe. I always leave with a bounce in my step!

    Such a refreshing and fun class! I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by his class and blown away by how wonderful the experience was. There are quite a lot of inversions and complicated twists which I am not too crazy about usually but the way he let us take our time and guided us through them was just beautiful. He is not just repeating the “right” words. He knows what he is doing and he guides you with intention. If you are bored with the usual yoga classes that you go to, I highly recommend taking his class. His 75 min just made me so happy. Thank you.

    I'd recommend to anyone who already has bouldering experience (because you're on your own- not a class). Fantastic bouldering. Great variance for all levels. Friendly front desk. My only complaint was that of the 3 treadmills in the loft, only one was working. I didn't have to wait because I was there so early, but with so few cardio machines they should all be working. The instructor does not use a mic, which was a bit challenging because I’m hard of hearing but I was able to follow along. Be prepared to spend about 35% of the class on your knees. That was hard for me. Good facility otherwise. Showers & sauna. Be sure to bring a lock to store your things in a locker.
