About this studio

This beautiful Brooklyn studio offers a challenging, low-impact, full body workout that creates long, lean and sculpted muscles. The Bar Method® is a one-hour, non-impact total body workout. It starts with a warm-up, free-weight exercises and push-ups and then moves on to intense, isometric leg work at the bar, followed by abdominal work at the bar and on mats. Every exercise includes active stretching to elongate the targeted muscles. The Bar Method is a challenge to both your cardiovascular system and your muscle strength, delivering a high level of overall fitness.

1. New students must arrive 15 mins early 2. Socks and pants required (no shorts) 3. Only non-breakable water containers allowed 4. No gum or cell phones 5. Instructors may adjust your body or call your name out in class

Kat is an amazing instructor! Lots of helpful corrections even though it was a full class.

Great studio, but Jose is a disappointing instructor. He did not offer sufficient hands-on corrections, did not explain exercises well at the outset, and was rude/snarky. His class did not flow well. All of the other instructors have been much better!

It’s rare to be so welcomed when you’re a newbie to the class. The instructor was incredibly friendly and nice, took time to adjust my form and learn the new movements. Highly recommend

What is ClassPass?
