I LOVED the format of G Gee’s class! I loved her AMRAP approach vs the normal round with breaks in between exercises. Also loved how engaged she was, walking around the room and correcting form where necessary. I’d previously only taken her Sculpt classes (which are killer) but I think I’ve found a new fave!!

Milan impresses as a naturally gifted instructor, here w had a beautifully orchestrated FG60 run through with plenty to challenge, from beginner to the more advanced. Liked the class, some areas for improvement could be making the transitions between body focus area workouts more smooth rather than being like ok sit down and take ur weights off now. Yoga Basics IN PERSON

I really liked the class itself and thought Andromeda did a great job especially at guiding us through the breathwork of each pose, which is something I don’t always know about as a beginner. She also made sure to correct us about the little details of poses, such as feet, hands, etc. The one thing I didn’t like was that basically as soon as the class was over people for the next class immediately came in, which really made me feel rushed to get my mat and things up. It was beautiful dry heat that lent itself to the perfect conditions for warming up my muscles. The class was SO RELAXING AND ZEN. It was more of a mental workout than anything. I had to try hard to remain focused on being in the moment and pulling myself back when my thoughts ran away. The actual moves were slow and soft. I throughly enjoyed it and loved the instructor. I felt like this was the quickest 60 minute yoga class I’ve ever taken. It flew by, which I loved! The whole class was instruction lead and had a variety of flows (it wasn’t Y7 model of learning a flow and then flowing on your own). I love when you don’t have to think at all and you can just follow directions. I also loved that the instructor was very supportive of people taking modifications or rests, but also giving advanced poses and instructions for people who wanted to advance their practice. As long as you have an understanding of pose names, this class really is good for all levels. Also the heat was perfect.

HIIT 60 with weights (Hot Interval Training)

Extremely great energy from this instructor! I’d love for Eric to teach every workout class I take ever!! As a heads up, this is a true HIIT in a sauna class. This is not your typical Hot Yoga Sculpt which tends to incorporate Yoga flow, it’s truly HIIT as described. With that being said, I felt I’d rather be able to do these motions with heavy weights which is unrealistic in the heat. It’s a cool concept and the best energy studio though!!

What a great space and a wonderful teacher. It was accessible enough for beginners but gave room for more advanced students to explore. Highly recommend this space since it’s very different from the OG one in BK - can’t go wrong. 🙌 So happy they are expanding and bringing their magic wherever they go! Now to open up in Astoria 😊

    Hot Pilates

Samuel was absolutely fabulous. First time coming to this studio and taking this class and I was not expecting to sweat this much. Did I ask myself multiples time during this class, “Why didn’t you just sleep in on this beautiful Sunday?” Yes. Yes I did. But, when class was over, I deliriously was excited to come back here next Sunday. It’s not classical mat Pilates and is very HIIT/tabata focused, which I loved. Bring a water bottle, towel, and mat. They are available in studio to rent: $3 for towel, $5 for mat. Be sure to arrive early since they lock the front door for safety when class begins so no late arrivals. Come ready to sweat!
