About this studio

The Bar Method® is a one-hour, non-impact total body workout. It starts with a warm-up, free-weight exercises and push-ups and then moves on to intense, isometric leg work at the bar, followed by abdominal work at the bar and on mats. Every exercise includes active stretching to elongate the targeted muscles. The Bar Method is a challenge to both your cardiovascular system and your muscle strength, delivering a high level of overall fitness.

How to prepare

1. New students must arrive 15 mins early 2. Socks that cover your whole foot, pants that cover your knee, as well as tops that cover your midriff are required (no shorts) 3. Only non-breakable water containers allowed 4. No gum or cell phones 5. Instructors may physically adjust your body or call your name out in class 6. New pregnant students must check in with instructor and staff prior to class to discuss modifications.

Erica is very hands on and attentive! I’m not the biggest fan of this studios style of barre compared to other studios though. Feels less deep/intense than other styles. But it’s beautiful and the teachers are all super on it.

A very nice, clean studio, and the instructor was positive and helpful but I'm not sure I'm getting the best workout I can in an hour. I personally like to leave a class sweating and having gotten my heart rate up. The true test for me is how I feel the next day. if I'm sore then it's worth it. Only time will tell.

This was a great workout, definitely feeling it the next day. I’m a beginner to barre and it was pretty easy to follow. Instructor does a lot of both verbal and hands-on corrections. Everyone working at the studio was incredibly friendly and helpful and welcoming to first-timers

What is ClassPass?
