So hard but so good. Amazing teacher. I wish there were signature classes at 630 PM on weeknights at 73rd or 57th bc its a logical after work time but they only seem to offer beginner at 630pm every night at both of these studios which I find strange.

Great glute work today, I love the new format of the class. The exercises are more intermixed so anyone who’s been going to P57 a while will feel like a newbie again since you can’t predict what’s coming next. Really helps you focus! The instructor was great too.

#BEAUTYBARRE: BACK TO SCHOOL BOOTCAMP EDITION

Ughhhhh, this place is simply THE BEST. Ive yet to have anything negative to say- only I wish it were closer to me or my job. Every instructor Ive had has been so insanely welcoming, positive and encouraging without overdoing it or being corny. Jasmine was great today and I really enjoyed the longer format class. I sweat a ton and felt so proud of myself after! I also finally felt the confidence and comfort to workout just in a sports bra. For someone who has struggled with body image issues their whole life, this is HUGE and a testament to the fact that these classes will not only make you sweat so much that you have to, but that the community is so accepting and welcoming you no matter what your size or fitness level is.

Jason is a master who never disappoints. Always leaves me feeling challenged + burned out in such a different manner than my HIIT, crossfit, Barrys & spin classes. But please dont come to a signature class if youve never taken barre before, let alone a P57 class - they have beginner classes for this reason!

Love Flybarre. Nice and challenging and fast paced without the weird stuck-to-the-barre-kill-your-knees nonsense. Definitely hard and have definitely seen results. Not as "traditional" as Physique57, for example, but I think a better experience (also, good instructors, good instruction, doesn't feel Overly gendered one way or the other).

New favorite barre studio in NYC!! I dont come from a dance background but loved that this felt more inspired by real ballet moves, while still being an amazing workout!! Mixed

For some classes, the quality and energy level of your instructor means everything. The Bar Method is one of those classes, and Nikki is an awesome instructor. She is sweet, energetic, and encouraging, entertaining you with funny stories to take your mind off the at-times painful work you are doing. Plus, she will subtly make sure to correct your form, so you can avoid injury, without making you feel embarrassed or singled out. Mixed is a well-rounded barre class that will leave you feeling energized, with loose and limber muscles, for the rest of your day. A great way to start your weekend.

Great class! Not the most challenging barre class I’ve been to but it was challenging enough and fun. Emily was encouraging, attentive, and tried to make it fun by trying to encourage participants to dance, for example. I love shaktibarre. I say it every week after taking this class, but I absolutely adore Allie's class & tonight was even more challenging than usual. Always work up a sweat here, which is hard for me to come by in barre classes as an athlete, but the opening dynamic ab / plank / push-up sequences get me going. Allie is attentive, motivating, energetic (but not annoying), hands on, personable and clear in her instructions. A++

Our instructor Megan was great, she took the time to correct my stance several times. Was concise and easy to follow. She also topped off the class with an adjustment and aromatherapy with tea tree oil. Playlist was a fun mix which helped to keep me engaged. The facilities need work, a lot of keys are missing on the lockers and the heat was disappointing. Temperature was turned on at 100 but it felt like 80 tops. I felt a strong draft from the window throughout the class.

Grace was excellent - good cues and explanation of poses without overdoing it. Smart sequencing too, just a thoughtful instructor. FYI the space is tiny so come close to class start (no lobby) and there are mirrors in the studio but it's easy to avoid being distracted by them. Pure Barre

The instructor was great. She took time before the class to give me and my wife a mini tutorial and gave us realistic expectations. Such as the fact the throughout the class we would be shaking and that is normal for first timers. She also took time after the class to talk to us encourage us to come back or even try another instructor. The class was great and it kicked our butts. 2 days later and I am still sore.

Instructor was nice and gave good tips/modifications. Slow paced but definitely feel the burn and muscles working.

Amazing as always. Christy always progresses into the more advanced poses through the class and every progression gets students closer to achieving better form or a new asana. Her classes are a true delight. Recommended for any beginning yogi and yogis trying to get deeper into their practice
