As a first-timer, I absolutely loved this class and already plan on returning! Meghan’s playlist was fun, upbeat, and her directions throughout class were super clear. The environment felt encouraging, motivating, and beginner-friendly. The NoMad studio is in a great location, and the lockers, showers, and amenities are super convenient. Def recommend!

I’m a regular at this class, and it continues to challenge me because Jimmy changes the routine each week (meaning: consistently sore muscles). I recommend bringing two full water bottles because you will sweat a lot and there’s no refill station (but you can purchase water, rehydration, and protein beverages).

Really enjoyed the workout! Agree with others that they do allow a fair amount of people but I didn’t feel like I was bumping into anyone by any means. The only downside to how many people were present is I think it makes it hard for the instructor to see what everybody is doing and make suggestions but she did a pretty good job! Plus you can look to those at your station for further guidance.

I really liked this one, more than the other format I’ve taken here. The hour FLEW by and I was so zen by the end of it. Hot Power Hour

Jeff is the best teacher and his jivamukti style is asana is my favorite. But that's not the only reason why I prefer Jeff's class over all the teachers I have had in my 20 years of practicing yoga. The readings from the yoga sutras, the chanting, and yes even his talks are a vital part in my practice. I see these bad reviews of his class and scoff. I'm sorry but those people just don't understand real yoga. They don't know how to go beyond their thinking mind and don't realize (yet) what they're missing out on. So if you're not ready, keep taking fluffy boutique yoga classes that are *good vibes only*. That will only take you so far.

Dino is an amazing, encouraging and kind instructor/owner, the staff is so friendly and the studio is clean, welcoming and comfortable. The class itself is intense but manageable and modifiable, plus the music makes me forget I’m exercising at all. I’ve always been intimidated by Pilates classes until now, albeit the class is a perfect mix of strength, barre, cardio, and yoga/stretching. I also appreciate how much time is dedicated to stretching throughout, which I find critical to safe practice and is lacking in a lot of other studio classes.

    BOOT CAMP (VIRTUAL)

Coach came as me about 5-6 mins late. Not good but no biggie. Class is nonstop. No breaks whatsoever. GREAT sweat. They do alot of outdoor laps. We dis 4 today so bring a long sleeve shirt to easily slip into. There’s alot of cardio and jump squats, which I prefer. First 1/2 is mainly cardio drills: high knees, planks, outside laps around the block, bear crawls. Second 1/2 is a circuit we do two tomes followed by an outside lap. No breaks at all. No slowing down. Challenging class. Good for overall toning and to blast cals. Not good if you’re a model or dancer looking to sculpt and not bulk up. We dud extended plans that can bulk up the shoulders as well as burpees & jump squats that can bulk up the legs. Literally your agent’s nightmare. I’d still def return but modify the moves as I did today to avoid jump squats/a ton of big thigh muscle work.

    Hatha Yoga

Im giving 5 stars because I love the idea of outdoor yoga in the park and want these folks to continue and thrive, but I do have some suggestions for improving the class. First, the teacher should have a sign or some kind of marker to help people locate the class amid the hundreds of people milling around the meeting place. And the class should remain at the meeting place until 5 min before class, rather than walking off at 15 min before class to a remote part of Sheeps Meadow. I arrived 12 min prior to class and couldnt find anyone until class actually started and I saw a distant group in downward dog. During class, the teacher was hard to hear and seemed self-conscious about raising her voice over the sounds of the park. During transitions, it would be helpful if the teacher announced the names of the poses first, so experienced yogis can keep to a smooth flow, rather than going into detailed positioning for each limb for beginners and only later stating warrior 2.

    Yoga Tune Up Pain Relief

This class was so incredibly helpful. It’s amazing how much we carry in our bodies, and Sunny was an instructor who took into account everyone’s different pains and problem areas and designed a class that addressed them all.

    Outdoor Total Body Conditioning

Lizzie’s class always pushes me to be stronger. It’s such an inclusive and encouraging space. Love that the class is offered outdoors during this time but there are still add ons like weights or resistance bands. There will always be modifications for those who need it, and Lizzie is always motivating and encouraging regardless of where you are in your fitness journey. Even on days where I feel the class is not super difficult, the sore sneaks up on you!
