How to prepare

Clients should come ready to sweat! It is recommended to bring a water bottle to fill up at the studio. They will provide towels and filtered water coolers. And don't worry if you forget your water bottle! They sell them at the studio. If you are taking a boxing class with them, they will provide gloves and you can rent wraps for $5 or buy them for $12. For bike classes please bring sneakers or cycling shoes with SPD cleats. They do not rent shoes (see their FAQ for reasons behind this).

This class was great; however for someone still rehabbing an ankle injury, it was challenging. Will definitely come back when I’m closer to 100%.
BUILD50 with Victor
This was probably the worst instructor I’ve ever had in a fitness class in DC. Instead of being supportive he was super judgmental, often for things that were actually the fault of his poor directions. He berated us for not being set up for the next exercise quickly enough when he hadn’t explained what to do yet. He made snide comments about us starting an interval too slowly when we were all just confused by his demonstration and looking around to see if our classmates had figured it out. He made judge-y comments about how light some people’s weights were after he told us we couldn’t get two sets of weights (which means that people picked a weight that they could complete the exercises with). Overall just failed to give the class (who showed up at 6am to work out!) the benefit of the doubt and rushed to assume we were slacking. Not supportive, encouraging or motivating at all. Will not go back to a class taught by this instructor.

What is ClassPass?
