About this class

The perfect combination of strength and circuit training. Every 7 weeks, you focus on 4 different barbell movements and progress upon them each week. Learn and warmup the movement every class under the guidance of your coach, and follow the timed strength cycle. Then get your heart racing with our varied StrongCircuits every class designed for all levels to improve overall fitness.

It was my first CrossFit style class and I really enjoyed it! I’m training for a spartan race and this workout definitely kicked my butt for it. A lot of stairs, weightlifting, and a LOT of jump rope. Most of these were high reps, so prepare for that. (We started with 200 jump rope I think). I wish the instructor and front desk person were more welcoming and instructive about where everything was, especially since it was my first class and had no idea where anything was or what the protocol was. But I’ll definitely go back, it was a great workout.

Top her was great and I enjoyed the workout but I would’ve liked more instruction on form and modifications. The class started with weighted squats but we were just instructed to go and do them and didn’t receive any notes on our form, which seemed dangerous. After, we did a timed interval workout which was great but had no modifications for injuries. There was little oversight so I just made my own, so I guess that’s fine.

You could make the class as easy or as hard as you wanted. Instructor was good and would give you subtle encouragement at the point when you needed it the most. Recommend for all fitness levels - you make it want you want it to be

This was a great class. Shannon was a wonderful instructor who modified the exercises as needed (which was great for a total newbie like me)! Will be back.

How to prepare

They teach you everything you need to know in class so all you need to bring is your excitement to learn, sweat, and challenge your fitness in a completely new way. If you arrive 10 minutes late, you will not be able to attend your class due to lack of warm-up. This is for your own safety and experience in our classes! The warm-ups are an essential part of class!

How to get there

They are in the basement level of 1722 I street. You will see their door on the street level and follow the stairs/signs to the bottom. You can then check in at the front desk.

What is ClassPass?
