New York, NY – April 30, 2026 –ClassPass, the app that provides access to thousands of fitness and wellness experiences worldwide, has been named to TIME’s 2026 list of the TIME100 Most Influential Companies, which recognizes businesses making an extraordinary impact around the world. In addition, ClassPass was also highlighted as one of TIME’s 10 Most Influential Wellness Companies of 2026.

To assemble the list, TIME solicited nominations across sectors, and polled its global network of contributors and correspondents, as well as outside experts. Then TIME editors evaluated each on key factors, including impact, innovation, ambition, and success. The result is a diverse group of 100 businesses helping chart an essential path forward.

In fitness and wellness, inventory is perishable. An unbooked class spot or appointment is revenue gone the moment it’s missed, and data from ClassPass’s integrated partners shows the average studio directly fills only 37% of their total capacity. ClassPass is the only platform built to solve that problem at scale, turning unused capacity into more accessible, flexible options for users who want variety without committing to a single membership, and a steady stream of new clients and incremental revenue for the businesses that power the industry.

“We’re proud to be recognized as one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies this year,” said Fritz Lanman, CEO of Playlist, ClassPass’s parent company. “What began in 2013 as a simple idea to help people discover more studios and classes has grown into a broader platform across fitness, beauty, wellness, dining, entertainment, and workspaces, helping millions of people build wellness into their lives through meaningful IRL experiences. Filling empty spots is good for the businesses that count on us, good for users who discover something new, and good for an industry that needs more people walking through its doors. At a time when people are rethinking how they spend their time and care for themselves, this recognition means a lot. It reflects the trust of our partners and users, and the work of our team across Playlist.”

Over the past few years, ClassPass has evolved its role in the wellness industry, expanding into categories including food and beverage, entertainment with movie partners like AMCRegal, Marcus, and LOOK Dine-In Cinemas, creative activities like Paint Nite, and even flexible workspaces through a global partnership with WeWork. These expansions have broadened what wellness looks like for ClassPass users and opened new revenue streams for partners in adjacent categories.

Today, ClassPass connects users to millions of experiences across 31 countries.
