Once the heat and relaxation settles in, it takes me a second to process left and right and what I’m actually being told to do and I get lost.

see all reviewsI had a great time! While I didn’t know the general routine of things in this gym my first time there, I picked it up fairly easily. Instructions are demonstrated, and then if you forgot immediately like I do, there are videos of the moves playing on the walls. There are multiple instructors who come around to offer pointers and encouragement. I had to rummage around the gym at times to find lighter weights for some exercises, but aside from that it went really well! We all worked up a sweat and I know I left with a smile.

She gave very thorough cues, demonstrated every movement and gave many variations for each of them. The flow of the class was perfect in my opinion .. starting with floor abdominal workouts to upper body, legs and then back to abs. I feel incredible and definitely booking again!

He’s attentive and actually remembers that I require some modifications with certain areas (most don’t care too much and I usually have to ask them , as they are busy overlooking the class). He has great energy, good sense of humor (which was my saving grace, I was throwing so many dagger stares inside my own head only bcoz I was unfit lol). Class was challenging , don’t come if you don’t want to work up a sweat! It’s a love hate relationship for sure but I’ll work on it :) good class!

Part of the reason I gravitate to TH versus the million other classes in NYC is bc of their team of great coaches like Zack, who is just motivating, funny, and obviously an experienced athlete and mentor. If you’re a newcomer I’d also suggest him as one of the best choices to try first because he is consistent, literally every time, at clearly explaining instructions on each activity and physically demonstrating movements.
