Ass & Abs with Michael
Short and sweet. Although i would like their classes not to be too tight around each other. The yoga class finished at 7 exactly and we had to rush in to get started, I barely heard anything the instructor said at the beginning of class, it was pretty hectic to set up
Gym Time
Love 59th Street location. Clean, well equipped, and spacious.
Top it Off with Alinne
Basic, but very effective upper body sculpting class using three sets of weights, bench and mat
Mash Up: Zumba vs Hard Knocks with Jozee
Very very low cardio. Did not break a sweat
The Ride with Boogie
4 credits, so you get what you pay for. no concept of rhythm whatsoever. the cues for resistance were "two turns to the right" or "one turn..." coaching with turns means NOTHING. tell me how I should feel! two turns could be so easy for me and so hard for another person. she also did weights and ab workouts on the bike which is completely unsafe. when I turned down weights, she looked annoyed. at any other studio, they leave me be if I dont want weights. I am a spin instructor, and all programs teach to never do anything but spin on a bike. I get it is a trend, but I have my own beliefs and this is the first time in any class I felt bad for not doing weights. posted a ahitty calorie burn too, because I had zero feeling direction from the teacher. just stay away.
Party Ride with Tom
Wouldn’t recommend for beginners. Not much instruction/help for set up & hard to hear over the loud music (even though instructor had a mic).
JILLIAN MICHAELS BODYSHRED with Brookelyn
Very fast transitions
Power Yoga with Lila
terrible atmosphere. banging and lots of gym noises. the nice thing was the sauna and steam room.
Vinyasa Heat with Carlos
Great class! A quick flow, challenging but not overwhelming. I enjoyed the level of heat. Wish shivasana (spelling?) was like 1 min longer
Gym Time
Love this gym!
