About this studio
CrossFit NYC is one the ten oldest CrossFit affiliates in the world (2005). They were the first CrossFit affiliate in New York, and between their two locations, nearly ten thousand people have completed their Fundamentals program, which is designed to expose the newest members of their community to the foundational CrossFit movements in a small group setting. Their coaches provide detailed instruction, teaching new members to move safely with good form and progressively adding intensity to each workout in a manner similar to what members will experience in a larger class setting. Please note Fundamentals is a requirement for taking any other class at CrossFit NYC. They currently offer CrossFit Endurance classes on Wednesday and Sunday for those who have completed Fundamentals. crossfitnyc.com+1 516 885 1343

How to prepare
They've got everything you need: fully-equipped showers, free towels, digital lockers (no padlock needed), a water fountain and vending machines for snacks/beverages. Simply plan to arrive in comfortable workout clothes and sneakers (or bring them with you), and they'll cover the rest. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early for your first class. This will give you enough time get settled in and into class, which begins promptly at its start time.
How to get there
Their Upper West Side location is at 157 Columbus Ave, Lower Level. They're between 67th and 68th Streets, but you'll find they in the cellar entrance. Look for them nestled between the Pet Store and Drug Store. There's a black CrossFit NYC awning above our door - come on down the stairs.
