see all reviewsI’ve been coming to this class for over a year now and I love it. When I started I could barely do single legs squats on the bench and now I can power through them with a 20 lbs weight. I am SO much stronger now across the board and my roommates have even told me they’ve noticed I look more toned. Shoutout to Sylv!!

see all reviewsI never write reviews but this class was fantastic! Most hot yoga classes I’ve done are more of a workout but this really slows the pace down and insert meditation throughout which leads to a good stretch, release, and workout all in one. Highly recommend this instructor and class!

Tess provided skillful coaching and helpful encouragement throughout challenging but mostly accessible back to back exercises. Although only guy in class didn’t feel too awkward, except initially thought this was a sorta “active rest” Saturday class, ha! Yea:no more like rock your body to The Limit fr lolz. Effective and efficient if somewhat repetitive sequences, nonetheless, fun and engaging. A boon to fitness morale.

see all reviewsBlake is obviously really seasoned as an instructor and is comfortable directing the room. There’s always a sense of everything going off without a hitch and according to plan. We move a bit more quickly than I’m used to—even for vinyasa—but it’s still a manageable pace. Generally, class structure starts slow, then picks up a little speed with each iteration of the flow, then there’s a point where the repetition sort of locks into your muscle memory and it’s almost like we’re doing a kind of yoga choreography, hit the peak pose (which Blake demos at the beginning of class), and then winds down and caps off with a longer savasana/meditation. Accommodating and friendly vibe. I always leave with a bounce in my step!

see all reviewsSo I think everybody has a style of instructor that they prefer. Brian has a ton of energy, which was really great for a 7a class, but I don’t think his coaching style is for me. Class format itself was fine, the exercises were up on a monitor, which made it less authentic and engaging but isn’t (nor should it be) a deal breaker. I usually go (recently religious) on a different day, and I will say that the difference in instructor styles is pretty drastic. Otherwise, the class was absolutely fine if you’re down for a few fist pumps of a morning.

But I didn't realize until I showed up that they focus on a different area each day (e.g., arms on Mondays, core on Wednesdays) -- I wish they'd update the class names to reflect that so I could choose a class based on what muscle group I'd like to work on, or avoid ones I'm prone to injury with.
