    I wasn’t sure what to expect but enjoyed the class - Meghan didn’t call out specific speeds like in a Barry’s class but let us pick speed based on exertion levels and previewed how long we’d be maintaining that speed (ie 90 seconds to 4 minutes). Did not love the flashing lights during class in the background but that’s just my preference. Playlist was unique and transitioned between hip hop, 90s rock, 2000s hits, a little EDM. While I’m mostly an outdoor runner I can see myself doing a class in the winter to prep for a race since

    This is my favorite Barry’s class I’ve ever been to!! Taylor’s music was SO good and motivating and gave such clear instruction. I usually do Ride x Lift, so this was my first Run x Lift which I was initially intimidated by, but she led the class so gracefully and offered perfect guidance. Definitely coming back!!

    Avery brought the energy, he brought the vibes, he brought the “you can do anything” spirit. One of my favorite and hardest classes in a while! The music was perfectly synced. There was no time to be bored because there was so much variation. Loved this class!

    This class is always so good. Perfect amount of cardio and strength. It was a lightly attended class tonight. Only 5 others in the room with me, which was kind of private/nice! Worth noting for anyone on the fence that they are very welcoming and you can challenge yourself at your own pace.

    Amazing hard workout! My quads were crying my the end. Great mix of plyo, heavy lift, conditioning and strength. Really friendly folks in class, lot of camaraderie and focus on getting in a killer workout. Instructor had great energy and good cues. Would definitely come back. Prob not great for beginners as we just got right into it, but as a former college athlete, this felt like home. :)

    Darryl is an incredible coach. Regardless of the class size, he always pays attention to everyone’s form and makes corrections throughout each circuit to ensure people are getting in safe, good reps.     This class is intensive. Think of it more towards CrossFit or Hyrox but can scale down to beginners. Usually it has strength circuits and cardio circuits. Strength part is mostly scalable intermediate moves, challenging but achievable. Rico’s philosophy is to meet where your level is.
