Metabolic Conditioning with Roland
One of the best strength training facilities in Seattle. The coaches I’ve met so far (jay and Roland) are experienced and have the knowledge to help you develop from any level. They focus on the participants like it’s a personal training session in a group training environment. They focus on form and function. You’ll work hard but it’s fun and effective.
Metabolic Conditioning with Roland
Very intense class, starting from warm-up! But for me and other out-of-form and out-of-shape guys, Roland was patient, helped improve form, and was motivational. As a bonus, he was understanding of and adjusted my exercises according to my chronic tendonitis issues.
Ladies Happy Hour with Erica
a lot of talking...not enough working out.
Metabolic Conditioning with Roland
Amazing class! Best workout in a loooooong time with lots of one-on-one training help
Metabolic Conditioning with Roland
Best gym in town
Metabolic Conditioning with Roland
Roland was condescending and didn’t know how to manage time. He spent 20 of the 60 minutes talking about the moves in a super inefficient manner. Not the class for you if you value your time. At one point, he told me to pick up lighter weights for bicep curls when I hadn’t actually done a single curl. I found this pretty patronizing given that I know my own body and how much I can lift. The kicker was at the end when he ranted about the evils of sugar and bragged about how a woman he trains lost 4 pounds in a week after he told her to stop eating sugar (including all fruit). This type of rhetoric is exactly what leads to disordered eating and a warped sense of what is and isn’t healthy. I’d gone to 2 other classes here before and enjoyed them..real shame this guy is an instructor here. I won’t be attending one of his classes again.
