About this studio

Rival’s diverse class lineup includes a variety of high-intensity and endurance-based classes such as tabata, bootcamp, cycling, TRX, indoor rowing, and more. Our signature indoor rowing classes are unique, full-body workouts which include long-distance and high-intensity formats such as RIVAL Row - which mixes in lunges, squats, and curls alongside intervals on our water rowers. Classes at Rival last from 45 to 60 minutes and are kept at a small attendance size to allow for more personalized instruction. Rival's classes are accessible to all fitness levels. How to prepare

Classpassers should wear whatever clothes they are most comfortable working out in. Closed toed shoes must be worn in all of our classes. Rival doesn't provide cycle shoes and they are not required in our cycling classes. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, you will not be allowed class entry. We highly encourage everyone to bring their own water bottle. Bottled water isn't sold at Rival, however water bottles are sold for $12 (not including tax). We also recommend bringing a lock to store your belongings in our lockers.

How to get there

Rival Fitness is located at 510 E. Pine Street in the center of the Pike-Pine corridor on Capitol Hill. Parking can be accessed in nearby parking garages or along residential streets. We highly recommend allowing yourself ample time to find parking so you can check in for class on time. If you are travelling by bus, the 11 Metro will get you here from downtown or Madison Valley, and the 49 will bring you here from the University District or North Broadway.

Music was not good, lots of dated instrumental only 90s-00s electronic music. Maybe one or two songs that had been on the top 40 radio in the past few years. Good music is key for cycling classes! I noted more older people (40-50+) than soulcycle/flywheel/ cyclebar classes that are usually all millennials. Facilities were great, bikes clean and comfortable and easy to use. The actual ride and intervals were fine but would have been so much better with good soundtrack

What is ClassPass?

ClassPass is a new kind of gym membership that grants you access to thousands of different classes at studios and gyms in your city and around the world.

Price of membership depends on your plan type and city, and you can book and explore classes ranging from yoga to barre to cycling to martial arts – the options are truly endless!

The number of classes you can take and the number of times you can visit a studio per month depends on which plan you're on. You can figure out which plan you're on by going to your Account Settings and looking under 'Your current plan.' With hundreds of studios in our ever-growing network, you're bound to always find a new class to enjoy. When your cycle renews, you can go back and revisit those favorites yet again!
