    Second weekend trying this studio and I'm a fan. Intense workout, intervals, so your heart rate is switching back and forth. I haven't tried the ski machine for your arms/back before and it's hard but fun! All the instructors I've tried have been solid but I really liked these two guys in particular cause they were correcting form throughout the class and have encouraging personalities but also push you.

    EXCEED: The Workout

    Absolutely Amazing workout, from the different segments (strength, EMOM, AMRAP, tabata, conditioning) to the chosen full body movements. Since there were only a few of us, he ended up teaching a Masters class version, which was more than welcomed. First time taking mike + I’m incredibly glad to have another instructor to add to my ‘go to’ list at exceed. Prepare to be incredibly challenged + leave this class with the soreness already settling in.

    Flybarre is the best barre class out there, hands down, and I have taken and enjoyed quite a few. It's challenging but fun and very well-structured. Good for all levels of fitness with manageable class sizes so instructors can give personal attention and adjustments. Sarah is super friendly and knowledgeable. She actually explains how AND why you are doing certain movements. Tough full body workout without harsh impact and it goes by so quickly!

    Great class and workout, but you have to have some experience with these types of classes because there is no time for instructor to correct form or focus on anyone, since they are basically running two classes (floor/treadmill split).     Intense but short workout. Class is 45 minutes but it flys by. Todays class was 8 stations, each station was 20 seconds of work 10 seconds of rest, 7 times through. So youre only really working out 18 minutes...be prepared, no shoes are allowed for this workout and there is no water station to fill up your bottles

    I was the only person in the class for the day, and the instructor was great about correcting my form to make sure I was doing everything properly. It was a great workout and really hard. You will definitely get a great sweat! Each card suit was a different exercise - 2 lower body and 2 upper body. The number on the card was the number of reps. The instructor pulls 4 cards each round, one from each suit. I didn’t make it through the whole deck by myself but I got pretty far.

Enjoyed this innovative approach to working out..and only 30 mins! Anyone can do it if they don’t freak out easily over involuntary tens treatment (mild electric shocks).
