only complaint is that i wish these classes were worth fewer credits so that i could go to more on my social worker’s salary. noah’s ego doesn’t need this, but he’s a knowledgeable and engaging instructor so i always look forward to seeing him.

    Deadlifts: Hammys & Glutes

Fast paced and difficult if you’re not used to lifting but Eric’s was great at helping and explaining! Only down side is if you’re lifting at a much lower weight than your partner- slows down their pace.

Legit boxing gym. Do combination punches on heavy bags and alternate with conditioning. Definitely sweating after this class. Can’t wait to go back. Bring wraps and gloves. Can purchase there.

    Yoga - Adults

Such a hidden gem on the upper east side. My only regret is I didn’t discover this class sooner!!! Our neighborhood is lacking good yoga across the board and most of the studios are hot or heated, which is nice sometimes but not exclusively. I looooove this class!

I’m so glad to discover a boxing gym in the neighborhood. I don’t know why UWS has not had more boxing options. Nuno was amazing! I highly recommend it if you want a seriously tough workout. He was very patient with teaching me the combos and correcting my form.

    Gym Time

Good gym, reasonable credit price. They will make you wait until 15 min for your slot (but this is in their description, so that’s fair). Overall lots of equipment but busy location and you may have to work in with people if you need specific equipment. Number of lockers also limited and need to bring your own lock.

Barry is a well of knowledge and an awesome instructor. I have never learned so much about the history of shoes, walking and how our Western culture plays a role in our chronic pain and immobility. I was completely intrigued and challenged in the best way. I will recommend this class! Thanks Barry. See you again!
