Head to Toe Better Than Foam Rolling

One word: amazing!!! This class *truly* gets you into alignment. I learned so much about anatomy; Chadd is incredibly knowledgeable and wise. Not to mention very funny, too! He will have you laughing and simultaneously wincing in pain because of the deep tissue/muscle release—it hurts so good! I would say the class description is spot-on, accurate and aptly written as it really is a form of massage. You’ll leave class feeling transformed and way better than you did when you walked in.

60 Min. Soulful Sunday (All Levels)

Loved this class! The instructor was fantastic. Favorite yoga class I’ve taken from any ClassPass studio so far. I appreciated that the instructor continually encouraged folx to listen to their bodies. Also LOVED that there was a solid 10 minutes of stretching/cooldown/savasana, which most yoga classes try to cram into one minute.

She holds the space well. Lovely singing. Flow could have been a little harder, started a little earlier, but I liked the dedicated flow time and the long form sound bath savasana. Lovely to watch the sky darken and the sunset glow against the sky scrapers.

Warmed up with some shadow boxing. Next coach called out some combos and we worked them on the heavy bags. Then we proceeded with partner drills. We did some shadow sparring as well. Ended it with body weight exercises. Fun workout.

    Power Vinyasa Flow - In-Studio

Been many moons since I was a member at the Pad until I switched gears and joined a HIIT studio. Decided to incorporate yoga again into my workout regimen and came back here today. Sara’s class was a great way to ease back into yoga. Calming and not a fast power yoga movement with handstands/headstands which I appreciated. Would take the class again!

    Power Yoga

Jennifer has one of the most pleasant and soothing voices which really got us through this mornings flow nicely as the Bluetooth / music connection wasnt working with the speakers. I feel like this could have been a really off putting experience for everyone in the class but she handled it like a pro, with grace and kept the mood light! Definitely a more mellow flow compared to the power flow classes but still felt strong and accomplished by the end with a well deserved 3 minute Shavasana :)

Hatha / Restorative Class ( In Studio)

I'm new to yoga and not very coordinated or in tune with my body, so this class is the perfect pace for me! I really appreciate how Aedra specifically describes the motions each relevant body part needs to take to assume each pose and also describes the sensations (like imagining that our feet are sinking into damp sand) that helps me know how to move my body. It's really helpful for me that for the first half of class we're invited to do each motion multiple times, because that allows me to get used to the feel of it or figure out what we're doing if I'm behind. I also appreciate how much Aedra offers support for getting us into the right posture for the second half with holding the restorative poses, and I also appreciate all of the hands-on adjustments. After trying 14 different yoga classes with my 30-day ClassPass trial, this is the class that convinced me to become a paying member!

Marcela’s class is definitely the most fun yoga class I have found in SF. Her flows bring a dance-like quality to the class combined with the awesome new tunes and sequences she curates every week…it’s definitely tough and hot but never boring. With her tips and encouragement I have been inspired to return regularly and built strength and flexibility I’ve never had before. Marcela is warm and welcoming for first timers/returning yogis like me because she calls out four levels of each posture very clearly. The dark studio made it easier to focus and hone balance I didn’t have after lockdown. I am so grateful for Marcela and Ritual and you will be too.

    Vinyasa Yoga: Jivamukti

I love a jiva class. This one was a little less challenging than they can be, and I think that’s a great sign of how knowledgeable Amanda is as a teacher. 30% of the class was brand new to yoga, and she made the class available to them with great cues and demos as well as helping folks like me who have done yoga for a while do handstand at the wall.

Studio is quite small but has all the props to use for class in another small room so you don't need to bring anything other than yourself and your water. No lockers but cubbies avail. Izzy used class time wisely and expertly guided us all through various poses, stretches, and breath work. You might hear some traffic noise throughout class since it is on street level separated by a door.
