    DIRTY 30

    I thought a 30 min class would be easy since I found the Dash 28 a breeze, but I was so wrong. This was intense and I felt like I was going to throw up at times. Come to this on an empty stomach! Corinne always has the hardest workouts.

    Ive been doing Barrys since 2015 - I love it - and Ive rarely had an instructor thats as hard as Brady for the floor sequence. Ive taken what I think are some of the hardest instructors there are but her floor sequences also involve quite a bit of cardio. I did a DF and was super sweaty. Would be scared to have actually done tread and floor!

    My first time going and it was really great. Matt was encouraging and thorough. I'm not a very good runner so i was a bit apprehensive about doing intervals but it was a very motivating environment. Great staff, too. Very warm and welcoming. Will def go back.

    Full Body (60 Minutes)

    Quite possibly the best Barry's class that I've been to - a total of 4 segments of 12-15min each with a ton of jog/sprint/walk intervals for the run portion, some done on an incline, and true full body strength exercises that hit every muscle group, from DB squats with a shoulder press, tri dips off the bench, biceps with the bands, back rows, burpees + glutes work with bands. Loved loved Lindsay as well! She was clear with direction + cues, motivated us, has killer music + showed her amped personality al through class

    Total Body (60 Minutes)

    Class kicked my tush tonight, clocking a solid 3.5 miles from the 2, 12 min tread sections + getting a killer pump from the floor work. Only issue is that there weren’t enough 15lb weights for those of us who started on the thread bc the 1st floor group kept full sets under their bench for the transition, so I was forced to lift with 20’s. However, lots of diversity of movements covered - bi curls into squat thrusts, tri pushups + overheads, jump squats, reverse lunges with side bend, one legged deadlifts, one armed chest press with one leg extension, bent over wide + reg rows, renegades, burpees, swings, weighted knee to elbow standing crunch, bear crawls. A tad too core focused during the 2nd section (time that should’ve been spent on lower body IMO) but Mike always provides a challenging class with impeccable directions.

    I followed Jess here from The Fhitting Room. I had been here once and didnt love the format but her energy and playlist makes it worth it. She gives clear instructions and keeps you engaged. Tip: get a treadmill closer to her because it can be tough to see the floor exercises when youre lying down.

    Tonight's speed workout was a "game" - as we passed him, we call out a number, which he matched to a slow, medium or fast pace. Then we did a lap (.25 mile) at that pace and asked him for another number. It was great seeing another ClassPasser there and the group is super friendly! Everyone goes to drinks at a bar nearby after the workout.
