THE GOOD MOVE (HIIT, PILATES, & DANCE)

I can’t imagine leaving this class and NOT feeling awesome. Julius has a contagious warm and welcoming energy. Nothing performative at all about the class, just space to play and let go. The movements were super fun and easy to catch onto and provided a great, sweaty workout. Loved the music. Will definitely be back!

Beginner Pole I **PREREQUISITE: MINIMUM 2 INTRO CLASSES**

I love it! Found this studio through classpass and I’ve been going since! Every instructor is different, but they all have one thing in common and that’s patience. Anaika focuses on technique, to minimize risk and injury! Pole is a journey and not a process! <3

    IN-STUDIO Stretch & Strengthen

Mrs. Voshell was sooo nice! I came in late after my bus decided to pass me by, and Mrs. Voshell was like, “Come on in!” not the slightest bit annoyed with me being 10 minutes late. During the workout she made gentle adjustments without shaming me or making me feel uncomfortable. When I modified a pose to make it easier, I asked her if it was cheating and she laughed and said no. I have Fibromyalgia, so sometimes teachers are confused as to why I can’t hold certain poses, but Mrs. Voshell was not like that. It’s a relief to not feel pressured. Great class!

This class was super fun and actually a workout, WAY harder than I expected in the best way. I was sweating and laughing and smiling the whole class. Also the vibes in the studio are great! Came a little early and caught the end of the heels choreo class and definitely wanna try that one as well. I’ll be back !

    Intro to Pole

Incredible class! Lisa was knowledgeable, friendly, and a great instructor. She explained the movements very clearly, and explained possible differences if classes were taken with other instructors. She was very encouraging and made everyone in the room feel good about the experience. Would 100% book again.

    Afro-Pop Dance

Took my first afropop class today. I had an amazing time in this dance class. The instructor Sylvestre really made the experience even better. He was incredible and he taught in such a clear and relatable way, providing different dance methods that made everything easy to understand. His approach was that simple and effective. He really made the class enjoyable. I liked that he took the time to work with individuals, on what they were specifically struggling with making sure to explain it in a way that was easy to follow, also made sure everyone could stay on the same pace. I learned awesome dance steps in just an hour. Definitely recommend, a 10/10 it was so much fun!

The instructor was super nice and the class went well. But be mindful it may be a kids class (10-13ish). I was the only adult there but the instructor handled it well and included me and the kids didn’t make a big deal out of it either.

Jordan is phenomenal. She helped me jumpstart the passion I have for dance and was super instructive about the breakdown of each section of the dance. I’m not classically trained or anything but seeing her describe some of the moves made me really want to learn more. I thought the advanced beginner class was the perfect speed for someone who kinda sorta knows the basics and wants to expand on their cognitive dance skills. Studio is stupid cute too. Highly recommend!
