see all reviewsYou get the mat and towel complimentary for your first class. The room wasn’t crazy hot, but doing the workouts got harder and harder the longer I was in there. It was very new to me, and I would come back. The instructor was good at explaining, and you can look to the mirrors or the people around you if you’re lost. I got street parking because I came very very early, but I could tell it got busy later on. Bring lot of water and don’t be afraid to stop mid way or take a break, it’s a welcoming place. Theres a bathroom but no shower.

The atmosphere was welcoming and the other people at the class were kind as well as the instructors and staff. I feel sore all over but it’s worth it. I will defiantly come here again ❤️

I have been taking Pilates mat and reformer on and off for >30 years but I have never seen the toys that were featured in this class. A kind of missile with handgrips which challenges your balance and core and TRX were among my favorites. The teacher was chill and magnetic and made helpful corrections in the class. Recommend!

see all reviewsImmediately looked at memberships after taking Rachel’s class. This was my first class and she was SO welcoming. High energy class with proper corrections. She went around individually to ask about injuries and if it was your first time, which I loved rather than asking the class as a whole. I loved the format of Rachel verbally explaining the movements with another teacher demonstrating simultaneously. No fitness class has left me this sore so fast. Front worker was also so sweet and welcoming. He walked me through what my experience might look like and totally calmed my nerves with it being my first barre class. Studio was clean and easy to access. Cannot wait to come back I’d recommend Rachel to everyone!!

For feedback, I think lowering the volume of the music would be great because I couldn’t hear what was said towards the end especially during the glutes sequence. Overall, it was a fun class and a good challenge! Different format than what I’m used to but loved how we targeted everything. Quads section was soooo intense. I loved the push🔥

see all reviewsShe is the best instructor I've taken with at Kala. I have had yoga with a few others as well and they were wonderful! Allysa is like a calming drill sergeant. I believe it's because she is really present with her students and can sense when they need that extra, "you're stronger than you think" or "it's okay to choose lower weights if you need that right now". She remembers everyone's name. She notices the small things like if you are trying to knit your lower rib cage together while not even being cued. I mean teachers talk about this a lot in cues but do they really see when you are doing it on your own? It's subtle. I think her years as a professional dancer have helped shape the teacher she is now. The class she designed has an amazing playlist and the short circuits are perfectly tailored so you don't get burnt out by too long of reps in one area. This class is part of why I joined class pass and I hope it stays.
