see all reviewsFun, tough workout. I was expecting it to be Barry’s or fhitting room hard. It felt probably comparable to a fair fhitting room workout and a light to medium Barry’s workout. For sure what you put in is what you get out. Clear instructions, motivating instructor. Wish it were an hour long at 15-16 credits.

see all reviewsAmazing! Perhaps my new fave instructor at Title. 15 minutes of intense cardio agility drills, followed by 45 minutes of boxing (increasingly complex boxing combos to practice and improve) with excellent advice and training, including specific corrections for each student (Michael takes time to address most students in class personally at least once during the hour), followed by 5 minutes of efficient core work. Great soundtrack as well! Take a class with the franchise owner himself! You won’t regret it!

see all reviewsLove the instructor but even though he’s shouting, it’s still very difficult to hear and see him. I recommend a mic and moving the gold bag to the front and elevating it so everyone can see. Placing it in the middle is generally ideal but the pillar really restricts 3/4 of the class to see him. And since we can’t hear him either, it means half the class is unsure of the sequence. He does come around often to correct form.

see all reviewsThis boxing class is very legit and a great bargain on ClassPass. I did notice John wrapped several student’s hands, which they don’t do at a lot of boxing places, so points for individualized attention. The space isn’t huge, but is perfectly sized to accommodate twelve people. I liked how he referred to the punches by number versus name. The only drawback was that there was no stretch at the conclusion of class. However, that’s easily remedied at home, or they have open floor space to stretch as well.

I took many boxing classes in various studios and I must say it’s rare that the instructors are as attentive to technique and form as at Trifecta. Wish we did more varying boxing combinations but most of the class was new to boxing so it’s understandable. No matter what you’ll still break a sweat if you put all the work into it and the instructors are very motivating.
