I love Yogabox but there’s a culture of people leaving before savasana and bringing/using phones in the studio room that can be disruptive and frustrating as another student. It’d be great if these sort of things could be more discouraged.

But I’m glad I returned to give more of a chance to the weight lifting part of F45. And now I know to ease into the more cardio oriented classes by starting Fridays which are the hybrid days for their scheduling. A lil cardio, a lil lifting.

She reminds you to meet your body where it’s at and if something doesn’t feel good to you, leave it behind. She offers many modifications and challenges for poses so that everyone gets what they want from the class. Her guided meditation made me tear up (in a good way). The cardio was more of a build-up and built-in throughout the routine rather than having a single cardio block. He played 70s-80s music for the class which was refreshing to me because I’ve only been listening to edm/hip hop in the last few classes.

see all reviewsI had no real idea what I was signing up for. If I was really new to fitness this would definitely be intimidating for me. The instructor was great asking if I had any questions. I didn’t at the time but said I might have some as I go through the circuits. She was great and made sure to watch and supported with form as needed. Once I had a question about how to do an exercise and she helped immediately. Going into a new space can be intimidating but I took my time and rested as needed. I didn’t feel out of place or less than anyone else. Great vibes.
