About this class

We’ve added more to our already popular indoor rowing classes. In this 50-minute workout, you’ll be on and off the rower. While on, we’ll do sprints, endurance, and power drills. While off, we’ll bring in weights–be prepared for push-ups, lunges, core work, and so much more.

How to prepare

Classpassers should wear whatever clothes they are most comfortable working out in. Closed toed shoes must be worn in all of our classes. Rival doesn't provide cycle shoes and they are not required in our cycling classes. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, you will not be allowed class entry. We highly encourage everyone to bring their own water bottle. Bottled water isn't sold at Rival, however water bottles are sold for $12 (not including tax). We also recommend bringing a lock to store your belongings in our lockers.

How to get there

Rival Fitness is located at 510 E. Pine Street in the center of the Pike-Pine corridor on Capitol Hill. Parking can be accessed in nearby parking garages or along residential streets. We highly recommend allowing yourself ample time to find parking so you can check in for class on time. If you are travelling by bus, the 11 Metro will get you here from downtown or Madison Valley, and the 49 will bring you here from the University District or North Broadway.

Kenzie was great at motivating us and making sure to direct each of us on safe form and good modifications! Kicked my butt and I had a great time!! ONLY complaint was that the music was a tiny bit loud at times and I had trouble hearing her cues but loved the vibe and figured everything out in stride!

We had a sub unfortunately forgot her name but she was great! Really helpful modifications to get the most out of the work out and perfect for all levels. Super encouraging too! I think I would’ve benefitted more from it if the feedback was a little earlier in the workout bc after getting that help I felt it so much more but all in all it was great.

What is ClassPass?

ClassPass is a new kind of gym membership that grants you access to thousands of different classes at studios and gyms in your city and around the world.

Price of membership depends on your plan type and city, and you can book and explore classes ranging from yoga to barre to cycling to martial arts – the options are truly endless!

The number of classes you can take and the number of times you can visit a studio per month depends on which plan you're on. You can figure out which plan you're on by going to your Account Settings and looking under 'Your current plan.' With hundreds of studios in our ever-growing network, you're bound to always find a new class to enjoy. When your cycle renews, you can go back and revisit those favorites yet again!
