60 Minute Float Session
Very well kept space and neat experience
60 Minute Float Session
A cool and interesting experience. Great for 15 credits, I had a bunch that were expiring anyway. I suggest bringing a swim cap and lotion since the salty water is very drying. They provide lotion in another room, but you don't go to it until you're already dressed. The sensory deprivation was less of an intense experience than I expected. I left feeling relaxed and slept like a ROCK that night.

About this studio

LifeFloat is one of Seattle's premiere sensory deprivation float spas, offering guests a non-claustrophobic float experience in their expansive open-air pools. Each guest not only enjoys their own pool, but also a private shower and toilet in their float suite. Floating allows the mind to downshift into a more relaxed state while the 1500lbs of epsom salt work to release tension in the body. You will have the choice to enjoy a full sensory deprivation experience with no lights and sound, or choose from a list of ambient music options to accompany your float. LifeFloat is a premier ClassPass Wellness venue. See their class descriptions for more information on the services they provide.

How to prepare

For the best experience they recommend avoiding caffeine before your appointment. They provide towels, toiletries and ear plugs. Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of your appointment in order to get settled into the space and complete any necessary paperwork at the front desk and to enjoy a warm beverage in their lounge area. Please also note that you are reserving a specific appointment slot with an assigned practitioner at LifeFloat, so if you need to cancel your reservation, please do so as early in advance as possible!
