Class had around 50 people and she still remembered my name and gave me a shout out for doing my first class! Studio is very clean and organized!     I cannot say enough good things about this class. The reviews about the friendly staff are all 100% true. They were helpful and gave a good intro without being pushy. They explained every move and encouraged everyone to make adjustments according to their own mobility and comfort levels.     I think I found my new favorite Pilates Reformer class in the city! Jonathan really did such an incredible job of hyping everyone up, giving modifications, and walked around to correct folks’ forms throughout the exercises. I’m a beginner to Reformer Pilates and I felt like this was one of the more accessible classes I have tried. I also really liked that a majority of the exercises were standing on the reformer or on your knees — a lot of the classes I’ve tried in the city are mostly laying on your back the entire time and I felt like I got more of a workout with this class.     This was such an uplifting wonderful way to move. The class starts with warm-up and ends with a cool down with a center section that builds up to choreography with a different theme every week. It’s a blend of fitness meets dance and seems very beginner friendly. Shoes-wise: Non-marking indoor sneakers, dance sneakers or any dance (ballet, jazz, etc) would work but you probably don’t want a big heel for this. Perfect active recovery that still breaks a sweat.
