    I’m a die hard Ives girl and was super bummed when she left for maternity leave. But Tara is also amazing at brining the energy, the encouragement, and the fire playlists through the whole class.     This class was great: fast-paced, energetic. Susan the instructor was very into and in sync with the music. She brought the energy. This was my first time taking BodyPump, and other members of the class were so kind and helpful in helping me get set up. I do recommend getting there 10-15 minutes early, as you do have to gather a bit of equipment for the class.

    I never did a Hyrox workout before so I looked at YouTube. This class isn’t quite hyrox - it was 8 stations set up as intervals of 1:15 min on/ 20s off, repeat 8 times. The real hyrox isnt intervals, it’s just straight through. But this format kept it accessible for everyone, so that was nice. Instructor had so much energy. He was awesome and kept us going. Great playlist too. Throwback to all my fav college bangers for this elder millennial.

    The staff here is wonderful. Jackie was amazing as always. The new instructor has been taking the class to learn the style and format which I think many people appreciate. He’s very personable and I look forward to taking this class. Also the owner of this gym is the kindest woman. Unexpectedly, our shower at home starting leaking while I was in the class so after I asked if I could use the locker room facilities. It was no problem and they got me all set up. Not all gyms will allow that kind of access for class pass users so I was grateful! Thank you!
